I'm more inclined to believe this loan is ok than the sun shines in Scotland.

Web site for S***** College has been removed, but D****** Investments still shows project. Our combined DD has had some effect. For an abandoned building it sure has a lot of companies registered there.

They call it an "investemt". I think we can all forget about this one now.

The two diagrams have also been removed from the "gliffy" website. Surely the borrowers are not embarrassed by their proposed corporate/financial structure if its all above board?

I'm more inclined to believe this loan is ok than the sun shines in Scotland. Sir, I must protest! I have for some years now, sported a facial appendage (nowhere near as voluminous, or colourful, as your avatar might suggest adorns your visage) which was acquired as the result of being unable to shave following overexposure to the effects of the sun whilst walking the dog on a beach near Kinlochbervie, way up north on the west coast. I rest my case. P.S. The above should not, in any way, be construed as investment advice.

I'm sure it's all above board by Gibraltar finance company standards. 8>. Sometimes it's almost tempting to give it to Spain after all ...

I'm not impressed - it needs putting back a year, or maybe a decade, or a generation. Much of the on-line smelly stuff has now been covered over or erased, but as I tell the cats .. "nice try, but I can still smell it" ... Rambling through the websites, I think we can deduce where the May pictures came from, and it wasn't the June VR visit (if there actually was one).
Far from 'soaking up excess cash' on the MT platform, this is likely to encourage astute readers to liquidate (if possible) and export more ...

Yep, AIUI Ed is fully aware of the facts here, so how he now deals with the situation will have a significant bearing on my commitment to the platform going forward (and I suspect I won't be alone?!). I sincerely hope he does the right thing, as trust takes a long time to be earned, but can be lost in seconds...

Update coming from Ed on the issues raised. Loan still progressing. Agree with littonowl about trust being easily lost and hard gained.

I'm sad to say that my confidence and trust in MT has already been damaged as a result of this debacle.
Previously I have trusted the platform to the extent of even leaving my money invested up until the end of the loan and then rolling over etc because I trusted all of the in-house DD and the platform's overall competence. Even when I was caught unawares by Birkenhead I still felt reassured by the platform's reputation and had confidence all would be resolved very satisfactorily.
This has changed how I think altogether. MT is currently my biggest platform but I think that is about to change.
Have we heard what Ed has to say yet? I haven't seen anything.
