I do not want capital repayments to be automatically reinvested - the choice would be nice, but right now it's better to have the cash to do with what you want.
Given Landbay send an e-mail when capital is repaid, anyone can just log on and re-invest or withdraw. So I'm not seeing this is a huge issue. Nor do Landbay either, as nothing seems to have happened regarding this.
Personally I think rates are far too low here really for people to be wanting to throw repayments back to them, as you can withdraw and do better with pretty much every other platform.

Because i'm lazy is my reason but if you can auto invest interest you may as well have the option to do the capital as well.The interest rate is low but if people are leaving there lump sum then presumably many would reinvest again - to encourage auto reinvestment Landbay could do the same as Lending works and move it to the front of the queue
