Thanks for the heads up OC but if my statement is wrong,my dash board is wrong and my reinvestment payment buying new loans is wrong, its a bit hard to understand the comment "whats in the account should be fine" Sorry Macq, that definitely was not as clear as I had intended. What I meant is that the amounts being displayed in the statement and on the dashboard are incorrect, however the amount of money actually in your account, and your interest due etc, has not been affected. We'll be sending correct statements as soon as possible. Thanks for the quick confirmation octopusjoe. Will look forward to the revised statement and the 'display' amendments.

Is it my imagination or did the July interest just go up a bit - though not enough to reach the correct amount?

Just checked and there is still roughly a 70% shortfall in my interest payment for August as well. Funnily the September estimated interest looks fine though.

Afternoon everyone. So you're aware, our team is still working hard on fixing the problem we had yesterday, meaning all the figures being displayed still won't be correct.
This is of course absolutely top priority, and I know it is taking some time. However, once we have everything in working order we will then send out updated statements.
I really am sorry this is still ongoing, however if anyone had any questions then by all means do ask, or connect with our customer services team (support@octopuschoice.com) – we'll do all we can to help!

The ISA application page doesn't work - you end up on a page which is purple and mostly blank with white speech bubbles on the page titled: 'ADDING YOUR NEW ISA ACCOUNT'
'Dan Hi xx, I’m Dan. I’ll be helping you set up your new ISA account today. To get started we need your National Insurance Number, then we can get cracking.'
Lovely, apart from there is no where to enter this number, and essentially it's a big empty page apart from the speech bubbles from 'Dan' and a very faint arrow at the bottom and a Close x at the top!
And that is the sole contents of the page!

I'm looking to apply for my mother's IFISA this weekend, can you (or anyone else!) confirm that the option to have your monthly payments paid into your bank is still available on the ISA accounts? TIA Yes littonowl, we can faciitate montly payments into a user's bank account in just the same way as with a regular account we look forward to welcoming your mother aboard!

Hi octopusjoe I've now successfully opened my mother's ISA account. Just a quickie, but as you know she wants the monthly interest paying back into her bank account, I presume all she needs to do is on the Accounts Page, select the 'no' option where you're asked 'Automatically re-invest my earned interest' ? Is that it, is it automatically paid back to the source account, or is there an additional step (I've already added her bank account details on the My Account page)? TIA. Also, re:application process, I would agree with puddleduck that its not entirely obvious when you start where to add the NIC number on the application page (fortunately I had read macq 's comments above) but it may be costing you some potential new customers...?
