I keep a list of about 4 or 5 black swans I expect to hit the planet in the coming year or so and I like to hold a few cards in my hand for when they come about, recently the Brexit vote and DT becoming President worked out well, though the destruction of Korea (N&S) and the assasination of Putin have yet to pop up.
I'm now adding the resignation of the Donald, before he can resign I guess he will have to have a success "so great" which will leave us with Mike Pence but the turmoil will be a buying opportunity in the US market (following a bit of a correction). Anything else I should think about?

Good idea, I guess it will be up to the Cons and Irish to lose, but ok, that might paddle into the back ground as a serious option. I'm in Germany next month and I will be looking for property along the Mosel (just in case) but unfortunatly Mrs Bobo (who alone amongst our couple speaks German) thinks a Corbyn election is off radar. Still I finish learning Italian this year and start German next.

Oh God this thread has got me worried. I could deal with a global nuclear war, or the arrival of a giant meteorite, but Corbyn !!!..........

Certainly more gold as I see it having another 10% to run.
More Europe for Corbyn (Euro and non Euro Scandi) (goodness knows how bad it will become in southern Europe as the Euro continues to morph into a northern european currency, but I wouldn't bet on Italian banks)
Slowing general Chinese investments for Korea disappearing
Trump will go, it just a when and how much of a bang it will require, trouble is USA is so much of the Global stock market, so I've moved more into international insurance funds
Cash, yes but European Reits look interesting (German and Finland)
I seldom short, just not in my nature

I get all excited when I see the title of this thread, only to find it's discussing German property....
