Back on topic, our circa 74% recovery is now just days away and I'm already starting to get a little excited about it. I've looked at my various balances and already allocated it in my mind. Definitely I get greater pleasure from the recovery of capital from a defaulted loan than I do when a loan repays in a normal and timely fashion. Look into my eyes, look into my eyes, you are feeling sleepy, when you awake you will have reallocated the funds in your mind.

Rearrange the following words into a well known phrase or saying - 'they', 'your', 'don't', 'hatch', 'before', 'chickens', 'count'.
Experience teaches that failure to observe this maxim can lead to serious disappointment in the world of P2P !!

I believe in this case it is been written on the kitchen wall by the moving finger. Making the deeds of mere chickens, mostly irrelevant.

Personally I'll believe it when the money has been transferred to my Bank account - which will happen within nanoseconds (picoseconds maybe) of it arriving in my MT account (never to return I might add).

I don't think that's very likely, but you may have been able to make a withdrawal request within a picosecond. I think its better to stick with nano's convention around here though, we don't want to be giving AC any pico ideas.

I was showing my compassionate side (actually a thin edge), if George (I'm going for the t being surname) gets a good nights sleep anticipating the safe return of some of his defaulted loan, who am I to spoil it. I will simply have mixed feelings when/if it does get repaid. I will reserve happy for the full repayment.

This is a third loss i have now been involved in with moneything to a tune of around 3K and yet people continue to sing their praises. I just dont understand but then again i did come into the P2P game with my eyes fully closed so maybe i fully deserve to be carved up by these companies.

I've also had a few hits on MT, however to be fair it is the borrower rather than the platform who have caused the default and IMO it's the platform's response that should be judged praiseworthy or not. MT's general attitude, responses to defaults and engagement with their investors on these forums and with detailed updates on the platform are a lot better than several other platforms I'm invested in.

No-one knows how much they have lost on any of MT's defaults yet as none of them have been brought to a conclusion yet

Saying 3k doesn't really mean anything to anyone but yourself. That could be 3k of a 10k investment of 3k of 10 million, are you still in profit after the 3k? I don't want to know your figures but just making a point. I think most us here are happy to get some of our capital back, better than certain other sites.
As you say you came into P2P with your eyes wide open so you will know that whilst you get 12% on loans there was always going to be some losses to reduce that percentage down. As long as it is higher than you could get elsewhere then it is a success.
I think we all have a percentage that we expected to end up with from P2P and anyone that thought it was 12% shouldn't be investing in P2P.

Toffeeboy 3K is my loses with Moneything after all interest paid with them over 2 year period. Bad i know but i went in top heavy on tranche number 2 of the birkenhead loan. Total wipeout. Lendy i am stuck in the dreaded London loan so if thats a wipeout which it probably will be then another loss with Lendy over 2 years. And finally all my eggs stuck in with Collateral and if that goes belly up i will be nominating a bridge to fall from

That is going to be an "interesting journey".
can you let me know which loans you chose to go into next as I will know to stay well clear. Sorry shouldn't make jokes at others misfortunes.

Completion set tomorrow, will it happen - yes or no - what do we think? Well if it doesn't we should at least have a 10% recovery from the deposit
