I've been a reasonably big investor in Collateral since the beginning, but suffering jewellery withdrawal symptoms recently since bling is in short supply there these days.
If I dip a toe (well, maybe 2,000 of them...) in the water with Unbolted, splitting my funds equally across gold and provision trusts, how long is it likely to take before, say, 75% of my funds are actively earning interest?

A very long time. I would advise you to deposit a much smaller amount to avoid cash drag...most loan pieces are quite small (between £5 and £25 normally unless a larger loan comes along)

In my experience it is best if drip feed cash into unbolted as the loans are fairly small and you only usually get allocated between £5 and £6 per loan on the auto invest. There are manual loans but these have a low limit as well. I usually put in £100 about every 10 days I would say.

It depends what you set your maximum loan size to. I'm not sure of the algorithm used to spread loans out, but my 3 months experience on the site is that having set a maximum loan size of £250 (across all loan types), I then drip feed in £250 about once every 5-8 days on average, when my cash balance gets down to below £100 (although this varies - if a couple of decent sized loans come up I have made deposits on consecutive days).

Also, you won't get an even split across gold and non-gold loans. There appears to be significantly more non-gold loans (which pay the higher interest rate . No secondary market but I don't see how it would be a benefit here, short loan durations. Good default handling so far.

I'm also fairly new to Unbolted and have managed to drip feed in £2K so far over the past few months.
I have 2 questions if anyone can help:
1) Is there any form of transaction detail? On Collateral and Lendy etc you can just do a dump each month of all transactions and interest etc - very handy.
Looking at the pretty basic Unbolted website I can't work out what loans have paid back, what interest I have actually received on repaid loans vs accrued on current ones etc - its a black box?! Just seems to be one small box saying "My Returns" with no detail at all. What If I wanted to see how much interest I earned for the month of July, how would I find that out? How would you do a tax return statement etc?
2) When is the interest paid? They say 0.85% a month for example but is it paid monthly (like Lendy and Collateral) or only at the end of the loan period (e.g. you would get your capital back (asumming all is well) and 6 months interest all in one go)?
Thanks in advance.

Loan Portfolio -> View Full Transaction History (sadly you can't download, although you can view all transactions on a single page) At the bottom of your Investor Home page, there's an option to download all your investments. 2) When is the interest paid? At the end of each loan's 6-month term (unless the loan repays early)

So I've just gone to the transaction bit and here is an edit of my transactions for just one loan Aug 30, 2017 Repayment of Loan 2DFDC39A7 £19.13 Aug 29, 2017 Repayment of Loan 2DFDC39A7 £30.42 Aug 21, 2017 Repayment of Loan 2DFDC39A7 £158.66 Aug 3, 2017 Loan Bought 2DFDC39A7 -£300.00 Aug 3, 2017 Loan Bought 2DFDC39A7 -£100.00 Aug 2, 2017 Loan Bought 2DFDC39A7 -£100.00 Could anyone explain this? I put in £500 over several days, it then pays back over the space of a week, but it does not add up to £500 and is there normally a line item for interest? Very confusing!

If you go to the loan page for 2DFDC39A7 you will see the three repayments that the borrower has made and how it has been allocated. But yes, it can be confusing.

My very short term experience with unbolted is £230 invested over 10 days. I think that it's unlikely to be of much interest to big hitters but so far it looks good for a hands off well diversified set of pawn loans. So far I have an average rate of 0.76% per month invested in both gold and non-gold provision fund loans.
Only two negatives I have so far are with regards to site design which could do with a navigation bar and better layout as a lot of information seems hidden by having important pages connected by links all over the page. The other negative is a new user signing up can't see any loans before making a deposit which is perhaps a little disconcerting since it's like 'give me your money then I'll show you where it's going.'

Your second negative, if you mean available loans, is not possible as they are immediately filled, if auto allocate elligible, and go in moments. I agree to the first one. There are niggles for small screen device users that have not been fixed. Ashwin, Rito can the items be logged and fixed please?

Do you get an email when fully invested?
Just wondered, it would be useful to be alerted so you can add more funds.
