Yes indeed, but it was only a £100 piece, so don't count on making a fortune from arbitrage... But it was worth it for the fun especially nicking it from under SteveT s nose.

I quite like those HP loans. You need to read the FAQs carefully, but the more you understand the better you like it. Loans are to what should be a profitable primary lender but with recourse to security in event of disaster. No advice intended, of course. Could do with more volume.

The SS analogy is surely wrong as INPL completely changes it. A thought for the Shuang to create a better system than others: Allow a minimum and maximum bid to be set. Could be a fun bit of coding.

Personally, I wouldn't invest in a platform that wasn't profitable So before you first invested with SS (PBL33?) did you ascertain its profitability?

Could anyone explain simply what a debenture does? Is there anything that prevents the group assets being drained a la BHS? The security here seems rather different to previous (asset based) propositions. Presumably the interest rate reflects that.

I think the charity trustees have personal liability for the charity's debts, which is why I would be wary of my charity borrowing money.

I think this is a similar theme. Until today last month's QAA interest payment was sitting in QAA as "awaiting investment". Now I have withdrawn it and it is swept back in and invested. Was it not earning for those two weeks? Perhaps this is one for chris to look at?
