After reading this, I would GUESS that they somehow had gained access to the account (that would be in line that they knew his past account trasnactions). They then found the accountant's name by looking at past transactions (payment to accountant). All they still needed was authorisation (verification) to initate transaction which they tricked him into giving.

Yesterday one of the underlying properties was sold. First time Indemo could prove that its model not only works on paper but in reality. Yield depended on duration the asset was held in portfolio. In my case i had two different notes that contained the property that was sold.
ROI was 32.9% for the older note and 58.5% for the newer note. (screenshot is in German as I use that, but UI is also available in English)

Aside from Revolut I have never been looked out (knock on wood).
However when transfering funds from my main bank account to Bigbank (also Estonia) my bank sends me an automated warning email and delays the transfer for couple of days asking me if I have initiated the transfer and if not that I cancel it immidiately.

Given that during the call 10 min wait they confirm that I am calling on the designated phone number for the account, the one they send access codes to, so how can I "fail identification"? I guess they assume you could spoof caller id.

I would also suggest Starlink. I don't have it myself. But from what I hear from people that use it, it is very reliable, very hands-off and very fast. Requires that you have a spot in your garden or on your roof that as unobstructed view to the sky. More pricey though, so no savings.

obviously not directly comparable, as non-UK:
Generation 9380 ( 15.17 East West, installed in May) export 7290 €580 (not yet billed, therefore approx. ) Import 1320 €340 (not yet billed, therefore approx., excluding SC) Gas €2190 for 17305 kWh ( including SC, disputed should be about €100 less ) Energy Cost €340+€2190 2530 (+SC electricity approx. €180) Export €580 overall cost €2130

Impressive number of platforms. Sadly a big reminder of how many UK platforms had to close/failed and how low the UK p2p returns are compared to the continental European cousins.
P.S. I like Axiafunder too, especially the HDR investments

When we visited Hoover dam, everyone was required to take a bus. You could not just walk. At the beginning after everybody got on board, the bus driver got up and said, that for security reasons no guns are allowed, and there are lockers provided, so now is the time to get off and dispose them. About a third of the people got up and went out, including some very old, nice looking grannies.
That's the kind of happenings which are totally unexpected if you are a European.

Pro tip: If you have a Seedrs account you can convert between GBP and EUR in both directions at attractive rates provided by CurrencyCloud with no extra fees. Since usually deposits and withdrawals can be conducted without bank fees, this is a good option too, if time needed is not essential
Comes down to about 0.05% so 50ct per 1000€ converted
