From everything I read even if successful lawyers take 90%, punters 10%. Not worth it. Correction. The St James Place lawyers are taking 50% (inc vat). Sorry not prepared to take that haircut.

But the provision fund still exists which will cover some bad debt?

From the content of these posts there are some very clever posters! I still have about £37k festering In AC AAs. I seem to be getting about £1k a month in repayments. Can I assume I will be “out” (apart from bad debt) in about 3 more years or will that time period of exit accelerate or decelerate due to the maturing loan book.

Crowdproperty have free instant withdrawals. Free! Instant! No box ticking, no form filling, no admin at all. That I'm being charged £1 per withdrawal to get shot of the measly rates and bone-picking greed of AC just boils my blood. Having said that it's a relatively small price to pay to get my capital away from the grasping hands of Stuart Law. An effigy of SL is being made ready for the guy Fawkes night bonfire.

I’ve an alternative suggestion for use of new funds - reduce the approximately 3.5 years it’ll take me escape the rapacious grasp of the disgrace that is AC. Please.

Oh come on! AC have granted us access without two factor authorisation. I can now see my hard earnings evaporate that much quicker.
Assetz Capital - you couldn’t make it up in a bad dream…

…Seems churlish to rock the boat ... so out with deck chairs on the promenade & enjoy the voyage!… …just as long as it’s not the good ship Titanic!

I don’t even want 100%. 4th way reckoned in feb we could be fully out by 2027 - 4 more years. Given that and current 4 year interest rates and no interest on ac loans I would happily accept 80%, even 75% for an immediate exit. I’m surprised my (performing) loans aren’t worth 75%-80% of their face value to an institutional investor. And if they’re not worth 75%-80%, what are they worth to a buyer? It can’t be very much less if we’re expecting total return of capital over the medium term ( say 4 years).
With absolutely no chance of selling out (at any price?) that implies the loan book has no value. Yet we are told to expect full capital over (say) 4 years. Not reconcilable.
Or am I being dumb?

£40k stuck with the scumbags. £410 returned this month!
I think I’d sell up and take the loss if they offered 85p in the pound. They probably don’t because they’re not worth 85p in the pound. Still surprised institutional investors won’t make a bid for the book.
