What is the "application issued on 24th July 2020"
I can's see any mention in the previous messages.

I emailed them yesterday morning but haven’t received a reply. Do you just reply to the document request or is there another email address?

I’d personally like to thank Mucho, he/she has spent a lot of time and effort doing research and offering some evidence based reassurance to those who were genuinely worried. I would like to add my thanks to Mucho, he has been one of the few calm and knowledgable voices throughout this fiasco.

If you're looking at that update, I'm really not sure you need go further than...
Yeah that’s another thing, Any chance anyone could explain why we are seeing double here. Am I missing something? Two different loans?

If you think you're likely to need access to it then p2p is not the place for it. P2P and the economy as a whole are very much more uncertain than when you were last a member of this forum I will second that. Some p2p platforms imply fast access but buried in the terms could be "we might change our minds without notice" If you need immediate access use a bank account.

Wouldn't it make more sense if they simply reformed and maybe re-staffed the existing organisation?
It would seem the cheaper and easier option, but then we are talking about government:)

I had these "net worth" and income questions when trying to open a bank account. I told them, politely, that was none of their business and went next door (literally) and opened an account without a single question.
I got the impression, afer they demand to know my insurance renewal date, they were more concerned with selling me stuff than managing my money.

I am travelling at the moment and am not sure what the correct time difference is. Am I right in saying that the borrower has only about half an hour to serve? Yes, 31 minutes UK time.

Anyone know if they produce a Tax statement or is it left to us to work out? TIA. Click on Account then on Tax. Export to pdf.

It seems we get to vote on what happens to funds already in 89 but the link in the email goes to a non-secure page and asks for my password, although I'm already logged in. The password you need to enter is the one sent to you in the e-mail, not your own. I should probably start reading the whole email then Thank you.

Same with me. There are plenty of sites out there where you can get @7% WITHOUT risk. Err , are you sure ? If so , please please lead me to such a site with a 7% risk free investment, because I want to make a substantial purchase !! Me too.

Has anyone actually sold anything on the SM recently? I have stuff at discount of 5% which has not moved. There are discounts of 25% on the SM. I guess there must be scepticism regarding the valuations.

have you tried the moneysavingexpert pre-application to see your chance of being accepted? Might mean you don't damage your chances by failed applications. I tried one of those pre-application sites (it probably was MSE) and it said NO to just about every card - I said zero income (whatever income is). What will then make it worse is that I (we) haven't had a mortgage for 10 years and never take out finance agreements for cars (I just take out my cheque book and tell them the price I'm prepared to write the cheque for). There must be a way around this without going back to work ! The putting zero income is your problem. Take a guess at the return on your investments for the last year and put that down. Income doesn't have to be from a job.
