I just bought 35p in one of the PBL's (can't remember which) and promptly put it up for sale - just testing the buy/sell procedure. It worked well - the system immediately gave me an available funds as -35p and as soon as some-one bought it the available funds returned to 0.00 A big improvement on the old BACS deficit method - although I did get 3 emails as well.
The other improvement (for those that have several loan parts for sale at the same time) was that the final email saying it had been sold told me the loan part ID in the email title. As it is therefore possible to insert the loan part ID into the title could it also be done for the email saying it has been put up for sale and the one asking for the cash to be transferred in, please.

I have been investing in P2P for 18 months - the first 12 with one company only until I realised (3 months ago when FC changed how they did things) that diversification didn't just mean within a company but should be across several companies (obvious when you think about it). That was when I discovered these forums (how could I have missed them for more than a year ) and since then the forums for the 3 P2P companies I now use have been immensely useful (and entertaining at times). I have learnt so much from the postings of others and I now assess all my new potential loans in a completely different way to the way I used to. So as a relatively newbie to these forums (and to P2P in general) can I thank all of you more experienced investors for all your patience and help. It is greatly appreciated. And to the newbies who ask what they think may be simple or stupid questions - please keep asking. There are plenty of others out there (like me) that are benefiting from your courage to ask.

My comments list shows
7232 (on 12/11/15) - A 15267 (on 9/11/15) - A
However they don't all follow through - I also have
7445 on (18/9/15) - D 6600 (on 3/9/15) - C 8335 (on 24/7/15) - C 6251 (on 18/8/14) - B
The first 3 are continuing to service their loans OK, but 6251 went on to default in the autumn last year with very small recoveries during the year although we are promised a bigger lump soon (~30%). I haven't kept a note of who does finish early when they say they are going to, but I have also had a number finish early in the last month or so with no warning.

Mine is also out - by £8.68. When I checked my spreadsheet 18 of my loans that repaid on 11/11 missed paying for 1 part but paid all the other parts of those loans. I phoned FC on 11th and they said they were aware of the problem and were looking into it. I have had differences in the past (but never just one part within a loan that otherwise paid back OK) and FC have generally taken several days to fix it as they are pretty thorough at going back through manually to check. They have always fixed it for mine the past so I find patience is the best option. I also find the All time earnings summary on the left of the summary page to be correct (according to my spreadsheet) and the numbers by the pie chart on the right to be the ones that are wrong. My discrepancy is fixed - took 48 hours but everything now in balance

Have to admit, I don't micro-manage the FC totals - but the one figure I do track is the deposits. That plus the current balance (and minus any withdrawals, if and when - none yet) is all in a spreadsheet so I can track the XIRR return of what's in each platform. Beyond that level of detail lies madness... Beyond that level of detail lies madness.. or fun if you like playing with numbers or Excel

Please, everyone using this thread, do not name Borrowers or give info that can easily be used to i.d. them. I say this because I can see several old posts, as well as the new ones above, that clearly id Borrowers. Please remove them yourselves if we miss them as we are about the go through this thread and try and do so. dawn, SteveT, robberbaronI have just discovered the Saving Stream Facebook page - www.facebook.com/savingstream/ - on which Saving Stream have published (on 20th October) the PBL id, picture of property, amount of loan and valuation for a lot of current active loans. It doesn't name the borrower specifically but it wouldn't be too difficult for some-one to find the information if they tried. Is it OK for them to do this? Genuine question - I am not sure whether it is or not. My gut feeling is not, but there may be business reasons for this and the borrowers may have agreed. If it is not OK then some-one needs to tell them - I haven't asked them about it because I'm not sure whether it is OK or not

If people want to recreate the list of full names in the summary sheet you can copy and paste the relevant entry from your own transaction report once you've pasted it in SS_statement_Summary 97-2003 format v4.xls (70.5 KB)

The value was there before - in the column before the Loan part name

The other 73p is the interest accrued so far on that loan part. The buyer pays the seller the interest at time of sale. The buyer then gets the full months interest when it comes in (may only be a few days time).

Updated spreadsheet with new names of loans - either copy and paste your transactions into this one or copy the summary sheet into your existing one (or just rows 10 onwards from the summary sheet) Saving Stream have changed the Loan part details again - making all the PBL PBLxxx - which is fine - I can fix that. However they have also added the loan amount into the name of the Loan part detail. I am trying to find a way round that (as different parts for the same loan may have different amounts) and will post an updated spreadsheet when I've managed to find a way. Updated spreadsheet - now contains PBL numbers with 3 digits afterwards so matches new Transaction statements. I have also managed to change the summary sheet so it only looks for the PBL number not the full name (actually looks for the first 7 characters from the name of the loan to allow for 4a and 4b - also works for Super Yacht by looking for "2005 Su"). Therefore it doesn't matter that they've added the loan amount into the Loan name. Link removed
