In three places?
Not sure what you mean?

I am actually very happy with my purchases so far under the new system having put in a £1k addition to my wife's account. This has given me 23 loan parts across quite a good balance of risk hands
My question now is if I am to put in a further £9k is it better to put it all in at once or say £1k per week.
Any suggestions with rationale?

I too would like to see recently purchased parts easily listed. The transaction log sort of works as it now gives the loan number but a 'recent loans made'list under the orders section in the summary would be helpful.
Incidentally one of my accounts is buying at £31, which is 0.5% of my lending on that account. So it seems to be investing at the full 0.5% so far. Maybe the quoted up to 0.5% is to allow for odd sums on the final order for a loan.

If you look at the Q&A for selling after 18th Sept it says:
"On and after 18th September: Any remaining loan parts listed for sale at a premium or discount will be delisted and the option to sell loan parts individually will be withdrawn. All loan parts listed from 18th September will be sold at par value. All investors will buy loan parts from other investors, based on their lending preference."

I have been getting this recently too. It only happens on my PC, not my iPad, and only when FCviz is enabled.

Exactly the same amount here too. Although to be honest I don't usually look at the detailed transactions just an irregular check on the overall total. AC is more like a savings account for me.

It was slow earlier in the year then speeded up and I got £5k invested in a few weeks. It is slow now though. I agree that the best approach is to put the money in and set it to be swept into the QAA. That way it is in the queue for the GBBA, when loans become available, whilst earning interest in the QAA.

Slightly embarrassingly I put in the old rate calculation. Using the new rates I get an average interest rate of 6.23%. So that says that with my strategy I could expect a drop of 0.77% in roi - all else being equal (which may not be the case).

Just out of interest I did the calculation of my average rate for the last 100 loans (116 parts) I bought before 19th Oct. My strategy uses manual selection of loans generally in A+,A and B bands with a few Cs and maintaining diversity. My loan parts are all the same size so I did a straight average of rate after fees and bad debts and the figure came out (wait for it!) 7% (actually 6.9914%).
So maybe FC's estimate is not too bad.

I have amounts credited in the transactions log and available to invest.

Care to provide the full text of it (by PM, perhaps), for the benefit of those of us who refuse to support the Murdoch press? I'm guessing it's the usual hatchet job. Oh, and fwiw, according to the loan comments, the final tranche of Newquay is now up to at least £210k of £250k repaid... Did you try the link, it worked for me and didn't seem to be behind the paywall.

Could it be FC are timing the new loans to mop up the cash released to those selling at a premium to people desperate to hit their iPad targets by the 14th.

Hi guys, I am a bit new to AC so wanted to clarify something. If I deposit say £20k in the cash account then AC automatically sweeps it into the QAA alongside any other uninvested funds (say no more than £5k) and pays 4.25%. As the £20k is on deposit in Barclay's, then this is covered by the FCS and therefore not subject to platform risk.
Am I understanding things correctly?
