I am finding that GA customer services often fail to respond to enquiries and if they do it often takes more than a week to do so. If I ask awkward questions I often get no response. They don't diversity their lending much, most of my investment in the GEIA account is in 3 loans and now one of them is suspended from trading. I'm not very impressed with GA and I'm thinking of moving on if I can actually get hold of my investment. Do you mean AC customer services? Try giving them a call. Always answered the phone to me and never had an issue with getting answers to any of my questions. Mike

df I was in a similar loan this month or last. The loan just sat there, the loan than nobody cared for. I loved that loan like my own but sadly it passed over the rainbow bridge and my funds (and accrued interest) was repaid. I will miss that loan.

It took a good few months for the SM on FS to move upwards again after the IFISA hoovered up the loans.
Just as I am about to start moving cash into Ablrate too :-(.

hi bobo,
yeah i have done the research and my colleague knows Terryvery well. i have SMT/ RIT and a few other great performing funds but like P2P I want to diversify from this.
I should have been more precise in my question, "excluding S&S".

Not really of any interest without the context of rough net worth. i.e. 4,5, low 6, high 6, 7 figures I disagree hazellend and caesium, not sure why these two factors are important. The question is perfectly fine and gives people an indication as to how they spread their portfolio. This is how I would extrapolate my figures (neither of which are real). P2P 12.17% £121,700 \ £1,217,000 Cash 4.00% £40,000 \ £400,000 Property 40.38% £403,800 \ £4,038,000 S&S 34.84% £348,400 \ £3,484,000 Options 4.41% £44,100 \ £441,000 Loans 4.21% £42,100 \ £421,000 I am however over 40 and under 50

Apart from P2P (inc. Wisealpha and similar), are there any other markets offering 9%+ rates for investments?
I am currently maxed at my P2P amount and would like to diversify into other avenues.

New to Ablrate ( < 3 Months ) but the SM seems very flexible and has plenty of 13.5%+ yields. Does this represent a good average or are we low or high compared to past performance of the SM?

Unfortunately the only word I can use regarding LI is "disappointing". Having had a 6 figure sum with them in December, they have not had the decency to contact me regarding the changes they have made.
As both a SI and HNWI I am surprised at their lack of communication.

Regarding the OP's post, I invest based on some simple rules as there are people with far more knowledge than me!
1) No more than 2% per loan per platform. 2) on FS it is currently running at 1.75% per loan 3) I also now avoid 70%+ LTV loans 4) Renewals are partially ignored depending on LTV
Following the above has held me in good stead over the last 18 months and so far I have had a few defaults (across AC/FS/Lendy etc.) which have all been repaid.
Would I recommend FS? Yes. Would I recommend FS to someone who is not knowledgeable enough to invest in P2P? No.

I agree with macq re: RIT Capital, stocks and shares are fine as long as you spread yourself across markets/countries. Back to the original post, I keep £0 available for anything juicy, I load a platform with funds and reinvest across funds in each platform. Occasionally I might need 3/4k for something and I find it easy enough to get out. Mike

Yes, the same process calculates accrued interest so if it stalls for whatever reason then both processes fail. It might be coincidental, but the system appears to get slower every time AC launch new accounts. Thanks Chris.

Could this also be the reason for interest payment issue?
Yesterday and today I have noticed missing accrued interest.
