I got 2 emails about this, first around dinner time and second about 6pm. When they give 24hr notice, is it 24hrs or just some point on the date stated (if all goes according to plan) Just means tomorrow (probably......... ). We reserve the right to delay or cancel etc etc...... I got 2 emails too ? They've been known to go-live from first thing in the morning till halfway through the evening............. watch your inbox ! I also got 2 emails, but noticed that PBL142 had been assigned on the pipeline page. So I replied the email asking if they made a mistake and mean't 142 rather than 141. Minutes later another email arrived stating that 142 goes live tomorrow. So, I think the second 141 notification was simply a mistake and should have referred to 142.

Seemed quite responsive again this morning, bearing in mind there would have been rather more activity than usual with 3 loans going live at short intervals. Might not be a bad idea to set something like a formal 10 minutes timetable between loans to avoid too much frantic refreshing as everyone tries to get the next one. With limits placed on the bids they tend to stay around for 10's of minutes, so no real need for any frantic refreshing anymore. Unless of course you are after the bits which appear every so often on the SM. They still require a bit of FFF to grab them.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Finally got the pictures back on the laptop when I un-ticked 'zoom text only'. However, I'm still having no luck on the ipad mini, indeed things have got worse as the menu's aren't working properly now either, and I can't get any of the sub-menu's when I'm logged in. Think I'll be giving up it up as a bad job on the ipad soon. As I had not changed any settings on either device I think it might have been one of SS's recent tweaks that's upset everything. On the mini you need to use block mode to see the pictures now. I see no problem with the menus. They seem to work correctly on my mini.

I occasionally notice no pictures, but I simply widen the browser window and 'hey presto' the pictures magically re-appear. You can see this effect easily on the live loans page. Narrow your browser window and the pictures vanish. Widen it and they re-appear.

It looks like an ability to sort loans by column header has appeared on the loans pages. This would be a welcome feature if it worked! Problem is that no matter which sort order you choose, the order never changes from oldest PBL at the top. This will be really annoying if many loans become available and all the old -ve ones show at the top of the available loans page instead of the bottom.

Makes a good deal of sense. Any newbie would find it harder to buy some by mistake if it is hidden away under a tab labelled default.

I was out and about this morning when the loan went live so used my iPhone to login and buy some. This worked fine, but I could not find a way to log off from the site. I had to kill the window. Am I missing something here? Is there a way to log off when using an iPhone?

Lendy (L) in Administration
SS vs FS

Has FS had loans that have not filled recently? A least one to my knowledge With the current throughput of new property loans at FS the situation is likely to get worse. They are taking longer and longer to fill despite increasing the rate to 13%, offering cashback and bonuses. The really annoying thing about FS is that non-property loans such as jewellery are virtually impossible to get unless you possess "super-FFF" abilities at the 11am release time.

So it is - and thanks for the tip, I got my 75 quid in. I did not see any notification email from CL, however ... Nor did I. Pure chance that I logged in and saw it was available. I can accept that there have been problems with the website but what I am NOT happy about is the sneaking out of this new loan with no advance warning. VERY POOR SHOW!!

your developers might want to take a look at the SM, especially colbb 110. There seem to be problems buying this I also had a problem buying this loan.

I would opt for prefunding. I think it's a great feature. Me too. What are the snags? All the problems on SS are due to INPL not prefunding. Or the toxic combination of the two. I am also for prefunding but don't understand the hangup people have with INPL. I find it really useful to be able to invest on the SM (or prefund new loans) and then know exactly how much I need to cover by either selling or new money. With other platforms you need to free up funds first and then hope you can invest them or else they sit around waiting for the next opportunity.

Hi Gordon. Are you sure this is simply down to platform success and increased usage? If that were the case I would have expected response to gradually become slower over time. What seems to occur is that the system is running fine for days/weeks and then suddenly becomes almost unusable. This has now happened at least twice to my knowledge. From my experience this suggests either a process hogging cpu or gradually hogging memory and not releasing. If this is the case then it clearly needs fixing but in the meantime a server reboot may provide a temporary solution.
