It is only automatically baught by someone if you chose to sell it at exactly the same rate someone had an existing offer to buy. I think sometimes people have tried to sell well under any visible offers to buy at discount into IFISA, hoping that they beat others of course, but I had thought that if you u pick an unbid figure somewhere near market value you would usually beat others... But as it is at market it wouldn't be too sad of you lost it as you could buy another?

Will look out for such a board. I have had my share of irritation at RebS pretty disorganized approach to defaults, but still want to drop small amounts of cash into about half of what's been on offer, and don't want to wade through posts full of vitriol!

I aim to hold loans where liquidity will be red hot. The 14% and 15% COL loans are good examples of this, as are some of the high class 12%ers. What's the point of bagging, say 2 or 3% cashback, if you then find your parts stuck on the SM earning no interest for 2 months while you carry on holding all the risk. I also give a high weighting to liquidity, but don't dare go near the 15%'ers. You'd only need one loan to default unexpectedly to wipe out alpha on the rest of the portfolio. If you rate the redemption yield on the eco village at 4/10, the 4th ranking charges must score around 1.5/10 on fundamentals. If they even merit a score. These loans are the P2P equivalent of ICO, great while there's an ample supply of greater fools.... I have to say that I do always include the high % loans across those platforms that offer, as it is not consistently a sign of poor performance at all. Indeed I recall the failure of so many A+ and B loans on FC when C loans stayed strong, and the same went on R*bs and FK too, so a good range of small loans at high rates, still including R*bs can you believe, still works for me

I think when they do relaunch there will be a core of longer term P2P folk who will gladly invest if model doesn't get dumbed down. The risk is that larger scale lower rate loans may make better maths at their end... Which would be a shame..

I think if I divided the time I look after multiple platforms and because I do not put huge amounts in, the hourly rate of P2P earning is not great, but its the best work I can do lying on my bed!

Have to take hat off to those able to track each loan at month end... I sometimes struggle to track which P2P company I am currently favouring...

Although I think they are still bound by terms that are reasonable, and in this case i am sure they could make a case, however annoying...

I will have a look at this. I have been lending through Lendwithcare for a few years now, recycling about £400 every few months... Will look at similarities..

Am also still happy to drip small amounts into about 1 in 3 of loans, but i do completely ignore recovery rates for tax or for personal hope reasons, once it has gone, it's gone.
Rebs is now just a small diversification option on the edge of what I invest.
Only exception is C***dy H**o whom I have a soft spot for... But we all have our favourites.
