That sounds like half way to the auction model that FC gave up for some reason!

For me, the complication is that I cannot 'direct repayments of capital and/or interest to the holding account.' When I try to change my reinvestment settings at members.ratesetter.com/your_lending/reinvestment/reinvestment_settings.aspx the To: box is greyed out and so I cannot choose the holding account. To get round it, I choose to reinvest at my rate, set my rate high so that my order sits in the queue, then later change the rate for that order (tried this; it works). Or if I wanted to get the money into holding, I could cancel the order (haven't tried this last option.)

Not what I expected: although I can now control both capital and interest payments, I can't send them to the holding account but only to Rolling. So I have to set my own rate, set it high so that it doesn't get matched, then change the rate at my leisure. Am I missing something?

An improvement that I should have liked to see is the removal of thin purple type on pale purple background, and thin black type on grey background. Standards!

Steve - this is probably a naive q: will you be able to keep your funds in the ISA wrapper so that when you buy back in, they are still an ISA holding? Is this sort of thing (buying and selling ISA funds within a wrapper) a feature of whatever online broker you use?

Ah, but such realism in the video - there is even (on the pond, at 45 sec).

Lots more of this coming onto the SM. Are holders selling at 12% and hoping to buy back at (12+1)%?

Was I the only one to read the subject and think 'must read that - are people getting matches at 12%?' ...

The vegan lender must accept a personal contract with the abattoir
It saddens me another person has missed the point and narrowed it to a religious issue. Vegans - religious?

I've often wondered, looking at your photo, do you eat the skin as well?

This is a guess - that there has been an increase in funds going into FCIF (for obvious reasons), and the FCIF has therefore needed to buy a lot more loans than usual. I am assuming that the FCIF buys only whole loans - can anyone confirm that (their website doesn't help on this)?
