And so, we are 18 days after fundingsecure sold these and absolutely no sign of our money. More like 60 days since they told me they had been sold (see my post on Oct 25th).

Todays chat with Evie: Me: Last week Stacy promised an update by Friday of last week! Didn’t get one!
Evie: Good afternoon, one moment please
Evie: Thank you for your patience. We are currently working through the invoices to determine how to allocate the funds to each loan. Once we have done this, an update can be posted to the loan page.
Me: Could you please provide an estimate of the time you need to achieve that?
Evie: Unfortunately I do not have a time frame for this. However we will update investors as soon as we are able to.

My guess is one or more items have been sold.

Re: 9899194706 Model Trains and 2356637233 Railwayana Chat with H****** S** today says " I have spoken with the person in charge of the loans and he said that they will be closing shortly". chunkie : What does "closing" mean?
H****** S**: Yes, sorry, I was just getting some further clarification. Closing means that we are just waiting for funds to clear so that we can complete the loan.
chunkie : So, is the loan being repaid or have the items been sold and you are awaiting payment?
H****** S**: let me just double check for you. It has been sold, we are just waiting for funds to clear. A further update with more information will be posted when the loan closes.

I was late getting into P2P so I was only with FS for around 12months before I got scared. I sold most of my loans at a 1% discount so I didn’t make much on my 20,000 but I made a little. If I lose my few hundred in Formby and Hornby I’ll probably break even.

This is probably old news or obvious to most but I'll post anyway! At one time I had around GBP20,000 invested with FS but got scared by all the bad loans so I've gradually sold almost everything (just stuck with a few Pounds in Formby and Hornby [trains etc.]). Anyhow, I found I had approx. 4 Pounds in FS funds that I couldn't withdraw because the minimum withdrawal is 5 Pounds. So I added 5 new Pounds to my FS funds and then I was able to withdraw the total nine! Hope that makes sense!

Our Lendy posts seem to have dwindled in numbers to 2-3 a day compared to many times that a year ago. Is this because so many of us have sold as many of our Lendy investments as possible and have thus lost interest?

Model Trains - Renewal (9899194706): Some of the assets have been sold. We are therefore going to split the loan in order that we can repay the relevant portion of the loan that was sold. The items sold were:
1 4 X OO Gauge Brighton Belle 5 car sets Proceeds £2,800
2 13 X OO Gauge Pullman coaches selection of types £1,200
The loan will therefore be reduced by £4,000 which will be paid out as a capital repayment. Interest continues to accrue on the reduced loan amount but will only be paid if sufficient proceeds are realised.

Online update from Stacie (not that it's worth reading!): "Thank you, we are in the process of gaining an update and will hopefully have an update to post on the loan for both of these loans very soon"

Today's Update"We spoke with the borrower this morning. The purchaser has still not exchanged contracts. Post auction viewings were held this week and a serious offer of £1.3m including freehold has been made with immediate exchange and completion in 21 days. The borrower has given the first purchaser an ultimatum of Tuesday next week to exchange"

I've never used TP but I found this on Wikipedia "Trustpilot reserves the right to remove reviews for which they are not obliged to offer any explanation. It insists that it always makes a bona fide effort to adhere to the existing laws and its published policies to assure that only authentic reviews remain on the website. Companies are allowed to publicly respond to reviews, or report a negative review to Trustpilot's employees if they believe that it violates Trustpilot’s user guidelines or claims to have no record of the reviewer as a customer. When a company reports a review, the review is automatically removed and replaced with a message indicating that the review is being assessed. If the reviewer does not supply the requested information (e.g. proof of purchase) within seven days, the review is removed. Proof of purchase is not automatically required to post a new review so there is little incentive for a company receiving unauthentic positive reviews to report these to Trustpilot, since they are not required to demonstrate authenticity of the reviewer. Given the company will prefer to keep positive reviews and discard the negative ones, the Trustpilot reporting process favours removal of negative reviews over positive ones, potentially skewing visible reviews in favour of the company"
