Unfortunately i can't help at that level of question - but not sure if you are aware of the Moneyhelper/pension wise site (from the Govt.) where you can even ring in to speak to someone for advice. Also the pension forum on MSE or even Age Uk could be worth a look Funny you should say that, but my post here is a cut & paste from a question I have sent them and awaiting an answer. Just looking for second opinions if possible because if things go wrong and I pay too much money into my pension I get no tax uplift finish up paying tax on it when I withdraw so lose 20%. Thanks anyway. i would probably have seen it at the weekend when i normally have a quick scan bit that does seem the sort of thing the pension wise site deals with and is govt. so should be free and up to date

We all do our own thing and people have different risk levels (but ) i would agree with others that without knowing what else you have £125k does seem high for your age and brave considering the failed platforms you were in already. So maybe your risk level is high but then i note you say shares are a loser? but not sure if you mean individual shares or funds?.My wife has a very low investment risk level but does have a couple of cheap multi asset funds in the 60/40 range which even with all that has happened over the last few years in the world have - 3 years annualised returns of 3.55% & 3.97% 5 years 4.31% & 4.58% and 10 years 4.88% & 6.67%. So would not call them losers but yes on any day or month etc they have had losses or even better gains but the same could be said for p2p both require time invested for best results but would suggest only One method is truly liquid on selling. As noted from others at the moment you could earn approx 6% on a One year fix which i assume is close or better than CP but certainly with no worries (even 5% with good old NS&I for even more safety) even instant access (or maybe money market funds in pension) and 2 or 3 year fixes are pretty good. You even have products like active savings from HL and Raisin among others which have a supermarket of savings rates from different Banks/BS for ease of running

Ablrate (ABL) in Administration
AF Loans (ABL)

There is an anonymous and very light on detail pitch on angel investment network that made me wonder if it might be AF. Does anyone else see the similarities? "Looking to raise £1m Energy Storage Developer location North East, United Kingdom Large-Scale battery storage projects connecting to the high-voltage grid. Projects secured and in early stage development which need capital for planning progression. Highlights High ROI Equity and loan agreement Highly desirable and high value projects Projects already secured via signed exclusivity and HOTs Highly experienced within the industry To develop a 1000MW portfolio of BESS projects and sell via a framework agreement to an infrastructure fund at a £/MW rate, within 12 months. The team consists of 3 senior industry professionals with a combined experience of almost 60 years, as well as internal and external sales staff/lead generators." I am sure a career in investigative journalism awaits you (maybe a column like the One in the Mail on Sunday)

I have to concur with the above statements. As with previous "updates", this one, on almost every single loan, is essentially saying, "we 'aint done anything over the last few months... and we will continue just sitting around doing nothing". The bit about the fella being on his paternity leave hence nothing having been done was, I must say, a creative way of trying to shift responsibility. I thought I'd experienced every excuse under the sun from borrowers and their mates running the lending platforms for their inability to pay borrowed money back, but this one that the fella responsible has spent the last few months playing with his baby huddled up in its pram is one even I've not come across before! All in all, a farce. Paternity leave is normally two weeks ... so may not even be a particularly good excuse. I see considerable attention to detail ... isnt the company Griffins? An IP as opposed to Griffin who are a law firm. Going by the wording in the second paragraph of "monitoring other IPs" guess its the former

option A sounded professional - i was going with the more Laissez-faire method Is that French for Lassie fare, I.e. dog's breakfast? Think Lassie was more reliable

Meaning I've now got a load of spares for other Microwaves I'm fixing but I can't fix yours. Given the age of the microwave, I suspect the only reusable bit was the 3 pin plug. Now if only the plane/s had a plug we might get some good news

If you wanted to shop around Monevator do a "Broker comparison:cheap investment platforms" feature which is good for SIPP & ISA etc

Thanks to you both. I mailed fidelity today and they advised same. Ie use online tools to compare funds and ultimately reduce charges by buying similar funds with lower ocf. The statement is only for my Sipp. I also have a small isa with them. Does the fixed £90 per year cover all etf in my portfolio ie across both sipp and isa as I have Vwrp in both. Sorry should have asked this when I was mailing them today. Its recently gone up from £45 to £90 for all traded assets (but transaction charges went down) in ETF's,Shares & IT's which is across both Sipps & ISA but free in just an investment account. If any of your funds are trackers it might be worth working out the difference V a ETF maybe?

The One ETF is now costing £90 of the platform fee after the fees went up last month unless you have others in an ISA to spread the cost(but assume you had others or traded a lot for the £189 transaction fees). Also depending where you are in your pension journey it could be that Fidelity are One of the better charging platforms in drawdown?
