Scar* - 28sep2021. Large short bridging loan, 50% LTV, 7.5%. No opinion on it but there is a reference to another of the borrower's properties in one of my blacklisted areas. Just the one with the usual covid excuses but had to be this P2P blackspot ! Trend or hearsay? The borrower reports having tried very hard to secure development funding for the property referred to when the original funder pulled out due to covid, and claims that only a very small handful of creditors were left out of pocket when his company went into administration. The local media reported differently, that the borrower's company owed creditors £9 million

It seems that AO have settled with the borrowers for 50% capital recovery, no interest, to be paid to us in stages. An improvement on the 20% we were originally told to expect, but 50% is still a miserable outcome for a recovery that has taken 3 years, and from a loan that was pitched to us as 'secured and insured'.

What sort of Financial Services Providing Platform would plan website maintenance for days on end during the working week? I couldn't possibly comment further. ....and not at least email their lenders to forewarn them.

I am fairly new to Kuflink and am in a few of their loans, but I will not be investing further. The descriptions we are given on their loans is very limited, and today's loan descriptions are even more limited IMO. The info on one is so sparse as to be almost meaningless, and on 2 others some of the information is so obviously inconsistent, which Kuflink seem not to have noticed, or they have noticed but don't care. No thanks.

Disappointing. Clearly something has gone very wrong with monitoring the progress of this development. And disappointing too that no explanation has been given.
I hope this is just a blip, and not the start of a trend.

Loan must be filled with AutoLend Self-Select hence option is no longer available or they are about to make it available for manual lending. The email said AutoLend Self-Select was activated on the 24th. I haven't got a clue about this new opaque system, it's a step backwards.
Agree about the new system. It's a complete shambles. You have no idea where you are with loans, whether you've received an allocation or not etc. etc. The previous system was infinitely better. You knew when a loan was launching, you did your due diligence, you knew when to transfer money to your PL account, you bid on the loan at a specific time when it launched, and you immediately new how much you did or not have invested into the new loan. I've given up with the new system. Not worth all the confusion and headache for mere £1k allocations. The previous system was suitable only for lenders who were available to make a bid at the precise time the loan launched. I agree the new system is clunky, but it has the benefit of allowing all lenders the opportunity of investing - or not. Many, like myself, have work (or other) commitments and often missed out because we were not free to bid when the loan went live.

I have been with them since January and managed to invest in only 1 loan. The priority given to equity investors (which I am not) has meant loan opportunities are fully subscribed by the time I receive notification.
