df - thank you for your message. Our cashback offers do usually have a 12 month lock-in period before investors can withdraw the funds that earned the bonus. We have no immediate plans to remove the Self Select Account/ISA options for investors, as we recognise that a proportion of our investors want the choice of who to lend to. Thank you for clarifying this. For me it means that I have no immediate plans to withdraw from LC. Reducing the higher margins makes sense - in the past few months I wasn't able to get anything near the top rate, recently one small loan went down to the bottom rate and I guess many bidders got nothing. So far I've had good experience with LC - 214 loans, only 2 defaults, 0.5% exposure and 9.7% actual return. My total assets keep increasing.

Who wants to take bets on me getting so much as a sniff of these? 12:00 start time, come on MoneyThing, some of us unfortunate souls have jobs... Not flobberghasted but 3rd round of passing the bowl and most workers get a lunch break, think lenders will be fine for first couple of passes on this one 😊

He said the best, not perfect. Containers failed long ago, it has been pursued vigorously, and assurances have been given. Unfortunately, it takes as long as it takes. Looking at some of the recent redemptions may help us assess whether abl have superior quality loans (often @23/4% pa). One was made 9 months after the original admission that no security had been put in place per the original loan proposal (and this repayment was only made after another query as to why us lenders had been left naked for so long). Another was to take the now public administration in-house by the borrower/financial intermediary. Another was a joint venture that rescued a borrower that had only ever made losses since inception (with the BS a sea of red). Another rescues the borrower from the most eye-watering, relative short term lending I’ve ever seen (speaking as former SME auditor) that swamped a parent guarantee shared with several other abl loans. For the avoidance of doubt, abl are on balance my favourite higher risk platform (ie no platform is perfect(!) and abl have arguably out-performed other high rate peers - whilst the directors related to Axxxxx AND their associated co’s remain good, of course 😉 ) but I am not blind to its risks and invest accordingly. Note 1 - I have commented on here re the above loans, DYOR (I’m on mobile for the wife’s birthday 😉 ). Note 2 - I look forward to investing in abl’s upcoming loans (subject to DD of course ).

Made deposit Thursday. Received confirmation email same day. Amount debited from bank account. Amount NOT credited to Ablrate account. One email later and no reply or result.
Could some obliging soul look into this for me? If there's any doubt who I am I can provide details via PM.
Flobberghasted. Best to call first thing Mon am (jmho).

Good News Update: Dia***tic So**r who specialise in medical and industrial ultrasonics, borrowed £26k over 12 months & defaulted after 6 payments - borrower has just repaid c.75% of outstanding capital.
LC certainly appear to have turned a corner & are moving in the right directions, especially on origination, but if recoveries also improve they will become a viable alternative platform to FC & AC for SME lending. I’ve just dabbled after following a loan over from TC; have you looked at Crowd2Fund, has several credible SMEs which I looked at afterwards and was pretty impressed with.

huddlecapital, the docs show a photo of accounts with BS of 1.3M but CH is showing dormant accounts of £1 for the same period, why haven’t actual accounts been filed? Edit - previously sole trader accounts.

(Apologies, know this has been discussed but couldn’t see HC thread.) huddlecapital, the borrower is stated as having considerable rental turnover and we would have recourse to any assets not already charged. As of 30/6/17 our borrower had £1 assets - where are the property investments accounted for? Edit - anything to do with sole trader?

Hi Will get an update and sort the comment out also Hi ablrate, is there any update on the borrower update templates. Something to help abl stand out. I’m dieing to know if this pub has been knocked down (by the borrower or council), our air cargo took off, our plane spares are being sold and how our pub refurbs are getting on etc 😊.

From my calcs this has gone from <50% ltv to <20% with a repayment schedule almost twice as fast as depreciation (one of the safest loans in high rate p2p). ablrate as the intention is to demonstrate the recovery procedures to all investors, could you please include the recovery value of the ADs in the repayment notification, thanks. Will do. Great news. Was there any value ascribed to the ADs to compare vs depreciation, thanks.

The international marketing manager looks good in that.
Edit - for the avoidance of doubt, I am talking about the Summer garden.
