I find emails can take a while to come,up to a couple of hours afterwards, except on the SM when they are usually instantaneous

I can understand turning it into flats, but that isn't a "single family" residence is it. Brian The plan is to convert it into apartments yet the valuation report says "We consider Standon Hall could easily be converted onto a single family residence and we do not envisage any difficulties obtain planning consent for C3 residential use in view of the existing C2 residential institution use." Plus they've based their valuation on other properies, some of which are family homes. Some of the documentation/valuations these loans are based on leave a little bit to be desired sometimes

It wouldn't be quite so bad if you just had to go thru the captcha pictures once but I'm getting a second set come up.There's no way I can recognise and click on 4 shop fronts or rivers TWICE before someone else who isn't get this handicap, because I'm convinced we're not all seeing these pictures. Level playing field is all I ask for SS The problem is it's not up to SS; they have no control how Googles reCAPTCHA works; it's simply a case of you either have it or you don't, there's no settings or parameters. I stick by my post in the last page, but I do think reCAPTCHA is fundamentally flawed for the purpose SS is using it for; its primary purpose if for single time uses, such as the submission of a form or a download, not for quick repetitive use which is the case with investors on the SS SM. Such repetitive use simply flags you up as a BOT and chucks you the picture game, with the game getting harder as Google becomes more convinced you are a BOT simply because you are using it in quick succession. That being said, I can't think of an easy alternative solution. Tell you what, I'm kindda glad it's the newer Googles reCAPTCHA with pictures, as opposed to their older system where you had to type 2 fuzzy words... So what you're saying CD is the more times you fail to get past the captcha the harder it gets ? The irony being because you've failed you're going to try again and again and ultimately your opportunity to buy gets less and less. So who are these people who are getting in a head of me to pick up the scraps off the SM ? Is it as simple as them being less active on the SM than me or have faster reaction times ?

ha ha, i do prefund, i am also active in the early hours the day before and after a loan goes live, i also have most of what i want so things are not so bad for me, but when you get to a loan hit the amount you want only to see a captcha drives me nuts, i only have a couple of loans that i would increase anyway so no big deal, especially as i can use MT Col and a few others to soak up my remaining funds It wouldn't be quite so bad if you just had to go thru the captcha pictures once but I'm getting a second set come up.There's no way I can recognise and click on 4 shop fronts or rivers TWICE before someone else who isn't get this handicap, because I'm convinced we're not all seeing these pictures. Level playing field is all I ask for SS

Based on the fact that we got £300 for PBL097, we probably won't get any more than £100 each on this one. Spot on

Lots of activity on the SM since the 2 loans went live today but I'm finding the SS website terribly slow.Must be getting a lot of traffic.Could be time for SS to upgrade their servers methinks

This thread is pointless. I do spend a lot of time reading the forum and 90% of it is noise. I agree,it's becoming like any other internet forum where you have to wade thru the to get to the interesting and important stuff. Can we keep this board a serious place for debating SS loans please

The success at buying on the SM is directly linked to how fast your internet connection is,certainly when loans are few and far between. At home with my 200Mb Virgin I can usually buy something but on my phone when out and about there's no chance.Just takes too long for the various pages to load

Apologies in advance if the answer is staring me in the face. I've spent a miserable couple of hours trying to logon to the Saving Stream site. Changed/reset my password many times but just keep on getting "Oops... Couldn't login with those details" (in a big read banner) Is it just me? Bound to happen at the weekend. Have sent a msg via "Contact us" but hey, Bank Hol, too! I'm guessing this has to be sorted manually at 'their' end ? Any help would be most welcome. Cheers, Bill. I've just logged out and in via my 2 accounts and both are OK. Have you tried a different browser? 2 accounts ? Is that yours and the 13yr olds ?

The one that screamed loudest to me was PBL 026 ......selling the site at auction. I hope it's not going under the hammer with no reserve!
