*to be clear the joke disclaimer is not in any way a comment on MoneyThing's loan quality but a pun on the film's famous line!!

Thanks . One day, over a few beers, I will look back on this year and give a rueful chuckle..... because it's been a year of unchucklesomeness so far and I have a lot of catching up to do! Anyway, the key is that everything is "on schedule" for lenders and in fact ahead of schedule if you spread the costs over five years. Apologies for the tardiness on the update but over the next quarter we will start to open up a lot more. Coincidentally, I just had someone ask me for a price for 50 containers so hopefully the January delivery won't be on our hands too long!

An update has just been emailed around and I will add it into the notes on the loan. As usual.... any questions then please contact me directly!

Sorry - it has just been observed that this sounds "ominous"! It wasn't meant to be .

Apologies. I will update lenders in the next 48 hours with where we are and our plans going forwards. There have been a lot of moving parts and we want to ensure that lenders are fully abreast of everything.

Apologies. It was just activated for a test. Our representatives are at a container show this week and we will provide an update next week.

Yes sorry. It seemed a bit weird to send a mail saying "Here's a loan you can't participate in" but also a bit strange to just be quiet. Hopefully he'll be back for more as it is a slightly weird but very interesting underlying security.

Hello . This is a new borrower who is a bit nervy about borrowing via p2p. His first loan has been funded by a couple of larger investors to break him in. Hopefully he will appear fully named in the near future as he is (so far) happy and has a great product.

As soon as the secondary market is up and running we will send a full update out. Suffice to say that the company feel that they are in control on the two issues impacting the business (GBP/USD and "advisers") and are comfortable carrying on as planned, if slightly delayed.

Big data can be great. One example that I saw recently was a new credit system that mines the internet for cross-relationships etc and marks individual sw I thin the firm.
Like Ed said though, you can't beat gut feeling.

Two comments (and take them as an interested investor not an embittered rival!!)
1. Interest rate changes DO affect the value of bonds. Or more precisely expectations of changes do...as do credit factors
2. Bond Syndicate desks don't provide concessions. The person selling to you as a third party may, but a syndicate desk cannot legally do that. Any investor on a new issue gets the same price
But great concept (just be careful how you phrase things!)

It is on my work program today. It was meant to go live today but a calculation has gone skewy somewhere so we are getting to the bottom of that with the new developers.
