It's ironic that demand for UK holidays has shot up in the last couple of days

Apologies, if I have missed anything but are their any template letters that I can use as the basis of a complaint to the FCA (suitably customised)?

I would be interested to know if the secondary market will only be available while 'not in normal market conditions'
I presume once AC revert to the previous withdrawal system, the need for a secondary market goes away.

I assume the accountants have read the relevant HMRC guidance and have PI so any issues with HMRC is on them. That said accountants don't seem to have a good record in P2P ... Edit of course all those celebs had advice from accountants on tax ... didn't turn out well😜 I don't think PI is going to help simons as the accountant has asked him for a figure and not calculated it themselves. Hence, they will just be using information their client provided. As it is, imho, claiming 50% of the value as of the 5th April 2020 on QAA accounts is ridiculous and if I was HMRC I would be launching an investigation after I received that return. I would suggest simons reads the guidance very carefully - you can't just claim relief on "expected" or forecast losses Personally,t I it's actually difficult to justify any expected loss in 2019/20 on the QAA especially as its still paying interest. This tax year may be a different issue

It appears, the only way in which investors can immediately stop AC unfairly prejudicing against larger investors, is to seek an injunction to prevent any further withdrawals from AC, until an equitable process is put in place which takes account of the timing of withdrawal requests & lenders exposure to loans where funds are generated. Not wishing to comment on the rights or wrongs of AC’s decisions over QAA withdrawals but just wanted to check that you have really thought this through - you describe a ‘a short term’ impact if you have your way - but the Court system is affected by Covid just like everyone else leading to huge legal backlogs..

Due to the way that AC have reversed the old withdrawal requests, the amount listed on the QAA withdrawal queue is double what I actually have invested.
If AC could fix this globally, they may find that the withdrawal queue is shorter than some stats may suggest.

The cut-off should obviously have been when AC decided to make changes to the system to block withdrawals. Any withdrawals prior to that should be honoured. There are two main things I don’t understand: a) the QAA had a ‘withdrawal time’ period next to it and when I made my withdrawal it was perhaps 0.3 second. Surely, if cash was getting low, that period should have been getting longer. b) AC’s statement suggests they did not run the withdrawal process from QAA’s on Thursday at all - not just after they blocked access in the afternoon. But surely, this process should have been operating 24/7 subject to the ‘withdrawal time’ previously listed on the site. stuartassetzcapital chris Any comments on this?

Like others here, I requested a withdrawal on the 12 March before AC introduced their restrictions on Access Accounts. My withdrawal has been showing as pending ever since. On speaking to AC today, they said that by tomorrow morning the previous withdrawal will have been cancelled and the balance returned to my Cash Account - and that I will then need to request the withdrawal again. stuartassetzcapitalWhile I understand the need to temporarily introduce restrictions, the two areas where I feel that AC has not done well here are: a) not processing the withdrawals successfully requested on the 12th that were made prior to the restrictions coming (rather than retrospectively); and b) poor communication to customers: not just the help desk continuously saying payments will be made ‘that day/next day’ but also the unclear/confusing Q&A on the blog which raised just as many questions as answers.

MoneyThingI have been looking at the RCC loans on the platform and note the descriptions say "Bidding suspended. Please see updates for further information" However, for some reason the update tab on these loans seems to be missing... could you fix this please? thanks in advance

I am sure you are also aware of the need now for everyone to have the same information at the same time, and of course that means you can no longer provide any updates on this forum before these are available on your web site. I believe you try to do this now, but on occasions you are fallen down, but in the future such unintentional 'slips' could cost the unwary money. I await the first threats of litigation when someone feels out of the loop. I fear it won't even be as simple as that. I suspect MT will also now be opening them up to liability if some trade in parts only to find that the platform has not informed potential investors about things like: a) this company has actually been struck off and we didn't know/notice; and b) the annual accounts, which we didn't mention to you, raises concerns about the viability of the firm as a going concern..
