Ah, thank you GSV3MIaC. After I made the first post, I realised that with the loans being different amounts, there had to be more to it.

Currently seven A+ property loans all filled by 54%. Looks like autobid being even handed, and not much input from thinking, judging human beings.

The next loans are 3 or 4 times as big, so everyone should get a full hodfull this time.

Bloodycat, I've already reported that problem.
Edit. …and got a reply saying it is a minor bug.

Same story here, but better than getting none — which is what I got last time.

Yup, the secondary market pages are at snails pace.

So, what action to take now? Well, for a start, I've just pulled all of my par sales that are above the new stated rates. It seems probable that I'll get more for them next month. Now, I think I'll go shopping on the secondary market.

There is the potential for additional revenue to be generated if the containers could be filled for the trip from China to Europe.

Since there are usually 'nearly new' Es on the secondary market at par or near-as-damit, buying there (after relaxed inspection of loan details, and no deadtime before a drawdown) seems like a good option. Then keep for x days/months depending on risk assessment. The big unknown is whether they remain saleable once aged. Buying new turns one into a leg-jiggling goggle-eyed psycho after a while.

Unusable on Safari. No images or tables, some text blocks overlying others.

Generally, I cautiously welcome the idea. The only slight flaw for the investor is not knowing the number of loans per period (and therefore the total investment) that they are offering up for. However, the secondary market fluidity offers a way out.

I'm wary of assets like this that are software-driven; they can depreciate much more quickly than expected as they become technologically superseded. I'll be leaving this one alone I think.
