New small one coming on line at midday should sell out within minutes if I am not mistaken!

Rats and drainpipes come to mind with this one. It filled about as fast as many C- FC loans but with the advantage of being able to check out the offer before midday. Got what I was after so well satisfied.

Yes, this one may well pay it off in a few months, so I hope the drawdown time is reasonably quick. Got my little wedge, but had to act fast - I was just staring at the monitor and it said 27%, then I washed up two plates and returned and it said 95% - Aarghh!

Out for the morning and missed this completely. Must learn the lesson: need to be on the pc or whatever permanently.
Is there an argument for "rationing" theses smaller auctions so that more of us can get a look in?

I don't appear to be getting notifications of loan listings from them. I may be wrong but I think you have to request an email notification when the loan comes up on preview. The notification request is on a loan by loan basis. So I have to go to AC daily to see if there is a preview loaded.

Hi Bracknellboy
First I knew about it was at around 11 am when I had a tip that he Leeds jobby was about to come live again with new valuations etc., and saw the Sl***g offering due to go live at midday but already half filled. No idea when it first went up as I have not looked at the site since yesterday.

It went up some time after about 10:20 am - no advance bidders showing. Opened on time 12:00 with around £50,000 in early bids which didn't show on the graph until a few minutes after 12. That's what made me jump! The sudden "nearly full" position. I nearly dropped my banana.

I was out and about all day yesterday, so I would probably have missed this one anyway.
However, I do think it's a bit naughty that Assetz allow selected bidders (how selected is a mystery) to get in before the hoi polloi.
Why can't Assetz just open the auction immediately?

I understand your frustration here. We operate a Gold Club which is for lender who have over £10,000 invested with us and part of the commitment is that they have some priority in the bidding. This allows for the large loans to fill more easily but does cause a problem on the smaller loans. I need to look at this in more detail and try and work a solution to it.

Just a thought. If you are going to spring a small one on us then you could give fair warning of say a couple of hours on here! I know it might cause a scramble at midday but that is a chance we all take.

Andrew I'm struggling here to understand why Gold Club investors should have some priority. I would have thought it would be the interests of AC for as many lenders as possible to be encouraged. Gold Club members are, I am sure, sufficiently skilled to look after themselves, and good luck to them, but I don't see why they need extra rewards just because they have lent more than some of us. Nor, I imagine, do they need any encouragement to lend more! We'd all like an equal chance of lending, please.

I understand. The rationale for it was in our earlier days loans would struggle to fill, so by using pre-bids we were able to fill the loans quickly and give confidence to other lenders that the loan would proceed. I am looking at this and will see what changes can be made, but I think a minimum level for this to kick in may be the answer.

Andrew Andrew I was not aware of this and in essence it could potentially allow your Gold Club members to simply cherry pick and do so without any transparency to others. I will rethink my position on this as I suspect others may.
