/Mod hat off
Nope that's while YOU test the new system for them, with your money. 'Testing' is well beyond them, and has been for three or four years now.
Hopefully they'll have most of the bugs squashed before they unleash the ISA, which some of our more learned colleagues are waiting for .. I, personally, am not holding my breath. Given what I can/can't now see on their website (even fewer details of whom I might be lending to for what purpose .. just when you though 'fewer' was unachievable!) I think the IT, or some other IT, looks like a better bet (and arguably less hassle for my executor one day).

Struggling to make sense of my Portfolio Total. Lending is currently off; I took a screenshot yesterday and it's gone down by a quid? £1.06 to be precise. I earned £1 interest. Am I being dim?

Increase in bad debts maybe? That's the only thing I can think of which would lead to a decrease in your Portfolio Total if lending and selling is off.

Went down a quid then back up 1.20, without any obvious movement in transactions to account for it. My losses are still zero (only started last Monday). I'm thinking that things perhaps aren't all updated in sync.

Welcome to double entry book-keeping FC style!
Transaction reports rarely align with current reality, and (before the recent change) it was quite possible for you to buy something from someone whose accounts failed to show them selling it. The new system is automated, so that might no longer be possible, or it might just happen 1000x faster. 8>.

The selling process seems to have sprung into life this afternoon unless my order reached the front of the queue after 24 hours.

I'm thinking that things perhaps aren't all updated in sync. Should anyone be interested, I've found this is due to the lack of simultaneity between Portfolio Total, Available Balance and Transaction History. I still had yesterday's payment schedule lying about, so I can see PT has gone down by the Principal sum of loans due today (there's nothing with today as due date in today's PS, so presumably all paid). This hasn't appeared in AB yet - it should just be an 'invisible' movement from Invested to Available (no net change in PT), plus interest, which is why I expected upward movement only. So, early in the morning you see a reduction in PT not offset anywhere else. You see your interest in 'Earnings', but that's not yet in AB either.

So glad I sold off what I wanted before Sunday. Sold 100k of Parts in 2 days in batches. As soon as I listed them, they were gone. I put 10k worth up to sell this morning and not 1 sale. Two days in a row I have paused lending only to check the next day and see it has switched itself back on. I am now going to be withdrawing my interest and capital repayments daily.

I sold off what I *didn't* want before Monday The issue of lending turning itself on has been mentioned by a few people now. I've been checking mine daily but I think it will be OK because I haven't made a lending option choice and pressed "Confirm & start lending", i.e. there isn't a "paused state" to be un-remembered.

All the stuff I put up for sale early this week has now gone, leaving me with only the defaults/late payments from our smaller account. Seems to have woken up at last.

I reckon FC have their PM / SM lever shoved hard over towards the PM currently. Of the 42 loan parts that my experimental funds deposit (at 9am on Wednesday morning) has purchased so far, 42 have been new PM parts and precisely 0 from the SM.

Well I my cash funds awaiting allocation have now built up to over £700 since Monday. Decided I cannot have it sitting around doing nothing so have withdrawn it yesterday and find there is still too much money sitting awaiting allocation. I will leave it for the 2 week period but if matters do not improve I will seriously consider drawing out interest/repayments as they accrue. If other investors decide the same FC could have a minor/serious funding shortfall going forward. On another personal note I admit I enjoyed the personal P2P decision of allocation of funds to businesses and not this change to 'it all goes into a big pot and FC/their computer algorithum sorts it all out automatically. A removal of transparancy methinks.

A removal of transparancy methinks. I have mixed feelings about it. I was only in it (old FC) a week, and enjoyed that experience. But, I found it a massive time drain in pursuit of a couple of percent here or there. On the sums I'm talking about, I can make much more per hour working!
