... I expect to see lots of parts of this loan appear on the SM at premium prices just as soon as it is activated.First (small) Powerboat Renewal part already on the SM at 1% premium! Must be a record. [Sold almost instantly] And now there are some available at 2% premium. fundingsecure: Is this really the way you want the platform to operate?

Can i just clarify, I only had notification of the 6 bed property loan at £250 max bid - but even that was at about 86% filled when I managed to get on, but was a renewal
Was there a powerboat loan as well? If so I didn't get the email?
EDIT: just seen it was in the forum post, but don't remember an email?

Just to echo previous sentiments: I was ready-and-waitingn to pounce on both of today's renewals - website froze up - and I got zilch in both cases. I had assumed there was little available, but on hearing that there was as much as 20% in one case I am not that impressed.
Lesson learnt (I hope) for FS: if there is a secondary market then the primary market needs some kind of limits to stop the flippers.

There normally are limits for both new and renewing loans - it's a mystery to me why there weren't any this time - pretty poor situation developing here.

Another one who missed out. 90% left on the first one when I hit invest and page crashed, refreshed but all gone. Same happened with 3 on Friday. Did manage to top up on the second one but only minimum £25 as just hit invest with no time to type.
Another who may well have to go elsewhere if situation continues though not sure where's left of interest.

The renewal of Malaya Garnet is still on (after 7 minutes £25 left). It was just paltry ~6% available. I don't understand why there is no interest in this loan?
Are people avoiding it? Is there something with the security, with this gem Malaya Garnet?
Edit: It took 15 minutes...

Is there something with the security, with this gem Malaya Garnet? Edit: It took 15 minutes... The 2nd charge loan against this security is due for renewal in less than a month (11th Feb) . If that loan was to default it would force this 1st charge renewal to default also. And with an asset that is hard to sense check the valuation, this loan's little better than a gamble.
I had £2k in the original loan which I sold on the SM last month (tax efficiency plus default avoidance). I'm perfectly happy with having a max of £50 in this renewal.

I bought £100 some time ago, maybe from you. I'm pretty sure there was a 1% premium. Thanks for passing the tax liability too Anyway will now enjoy 13% interests on the full 6 month period without premium and additional tax. I don't know much about anything that is listed here: art, gems, cars, jewelry, books, antiques ect. But happy to dip my toe with £25-100 in any loan.
