I just tried to do a search. I was confronted by a "funcaptcha" thingy to prove I was human (cue: string of jokes!). Rotate disc and choose favourite colour. Did it. Then got an advert which I could not get rid of, see attached screenshot. Then I tried to get to home page and do this post, but was informed I was a guest, so I had been logged out. I didn't log out! So, I've logged back in and you can see the screen shot. Admin Any idea what's happening here? Attachments:

Right. I've discovered what happened was I did a clean out of all cookies etc for another reason and that caused me to be logged out then when I logged in again I forgot to tick "remember me" so got logged out again then didn't notice and tried to do a search and the capcha and advert is what happens when you do that without being logged in.
Aaaah!

Before clearing cookies you can always try the old 'open it in a private window/tab' approach which basically ignores the stuff known to the main browser, without trashing it, iirc.
