Do you have anyone in mind, or just a hunch? I don't have anyone in mind. I just wondered if anyone had noticed more bling loans on another P2P site. No, the number of bling loans significantly reduced on other platforms and a small number of new ones are coming at lower (9-10%) rates. I think Unbolted is getting most of them.

New loans has slowed to a trickle of dribs and drabs, repayments are outstripping investments and my cash balance is creeping upwards. I'd love to deposit more but for the first time I am considering the opposite.. withdrawal. It happened to me once. I suddenly had too much idle cash on that day and decided to withdraw some of it, next day I had to deposit it back because there was none left to invest. Since then I just left it as it is and keep drip feeding as required.

I've only been on UB for a few weeks, but gradually increasing amount invested.
The property based platforms tend to slow down around major holiday periods, but I wondered if UB 'bling' loan volumes increase at those times as people run a bit short of cash - particularly Christmas/ New Year.

What's the current best guesses at the weekly amount one might invest, on auto, in each category? Looks to me (gold, and protected) no more than £100 a week?

The last two weeks I've invested £50 per week (some repayments brought the figures down). Prior to that it was usually between £100-£200. I'm in all categories. Excluding the antique books I've invested around £3500 since 30/08/17.

I am and have only ever sought the minimum £5 allocations across all Three asset classes. Prior to Ub moving up to the top board 2 weeks ago: £50-£60 per week. Now: £30 per week. Trending rapidly down as registered membership rises and deal flow remains static/close to static. Conclusion: membership increase is stretching Ub's low deal flow to the limit. @magenta14 I guess that Unbolted can thank admin for their promotion to the front page of the forum. Now they are not hidden away , the number of investors was bound to grow. This of course has the effect of diluting any future investments we wish to make. But good luck to Unbolted and lets hope we can look forward to a profitable 2018

It depends on what you set your limits to. Ah yes, we still have some of the SS 'game playing options' (from the % allocation days) where you can get more by asking for way more than you really want. I'd probably set limits of £100 or £200 for more loans.

For newer entrants I issue a note of caution about gaming. You may get more than you bargained for if an unusually large loan comes through. It happened during August and caught several people out.

Yes, unlike SS there doesn't appear to be any way to not pay (INPL) or to sell any excess you accidentally acquired.

I've been wanting to get fully invested to £5k as quickly as possible with satisfactory diversification -- have managed to get £2,300 invested in a month and a half, with my limits set at £200 - £300. A chunk of that is in antique books, and the rest is spread across 77 loans.
Think I'm going to up my autobid limits to c. 0.75% of my total p2p holdings, and probably increase what I have on there, as I really like the platform.

Is there likely to be an uptick in pawning on UB when the post-Xmas credit card statements start to arrive?

I started investing a week ago and took advice from this forum to start with £100 as it is slow to get the money invested. I set my bid limit at £25 and I still have £46 left. No investment has been more than £6.50, most at or very near £5. Time to increase my max bid a smidge, maybe get to the dizzy heights of £10 investment on some of the larger loans
