As my account with Unbolted has progressed I have had some late/defaulted loans. Keeping an eye on the list (which has shortened) has given me the impression that these loans have been dealt with quickly and with minimum fuss. Perhaps this might be a model for other platforms. At the very least it would save a great deal of angst

I have had double digit loans monthly since March go through this process and none have resulted in losses.

I've only been active with UB for a couple of months, with no overdue loans logged so far, and my total investment continues to grow slowly.
When I chatted with UB as I first opened my account, I think they said only two loans had defaulted recently and provision fund had made good on both.
What is the picture historically, my impression is that overdue / defaulted loans are quite rare? Anyone here been in UB since the beginning with a comment?
I've been slowly running down my remaining Lendy investents in favour of UB.

Anyway, Unbolted sent an email to investors on 21 Aug 2017 on Default and Recovery Statistics. I don't want to repeat verbatim but perhaps you could ask for a copy via the chat facility? ashwinp - feel free to post the email on the forum.

Thanks, I'll do that when I'm using a larger screen than this tablet . Quite a bit of activity today, I see. Nice.

Yes, my account balance has been drained to near empty, I may have missed some allocations as a result

It's all right for you newbies. I had more repaid than lent out today.

Going to be Mr. Grumpy here.
My repayments have surpassed my allocations☹ How dare a platform get loans repaid!
A good days flurry of activity after not a lot during the week.

I got 2 repayments, 8 allocations so far today.
I'm about 5 months into my Unbolted journey, so soon I think I won't have to put much money in at all when I start getting more regular repayments.

It changes after 6 months when repayments kick in, but I'm still topping it up as more funds get allocated than returned.

Unfortunately my repayments nearly always outstrip investments so I'm finding my investment balance is steadily declining, which is very frustrating.

ashwinp - I can't decide if it's a typo or the Unbolted sense of humour, either way it brought a smile to my face.... 2DFDC2C7F - Asset Disposition Status: jewellery containing None carat diamond is being prepared for disposition

I wonder why it works differently for different people? Are you investing in all types of loans? Another mystery I can't work out - I've changed my limits several times, but it didn't seem to affect the average amount per loan I get allocated.

I wonder why it works differently for different people? Are you investing in all types of loans? I'm auto investing in the protected and gold trust loans, with £300 Limits, and sometimes manually in business loans which are infrequent anyway. I'd love to invest more but Unbolted are slowly giving me all my investment back.

I'd love to invest more but Unbolted are slowly giving me all my investment back. Could it be that previously you were allocated larger loan parts than you get now? This could happen due to increased number of investors. I haven't noticed any recent decrease in number of new loans. The overdue list seems to be consistent too.
