Updates are nonesense and increasingly infrequent. MT has gone down in my estimations, I thought they’d be all over defaults like a rash but they seem to be taking a similar approach to other shoddy platforms, bury your head in the sand and keep kicking the can down the road.

This was in one of the previous updates "We will continue to be in daily contact with the borrower whilst this loan is non-performing. " So hopefully the July update will show some further progress

It's now been more than 3 weeks since either payment from the refinance (c. 2 weeks) or money out of the trust (withholding tax calc). i know that refinancing can delay for multiple different reasons, I don't get how it takes weeks to calculate Swiss withholding tax - when I used to work for UBS everything was usually pretty efficient

I'd like to know what the issue is that's preventing it from opening.

MoneyThing Can you confirm that you have actually seen the offer the borrower has received from the mainstream lender or are you simply relying on their word?

MoneyThingWhy is it taking so long for the Swiss tax man to sharpen his pencil? I've some experience of Swiss tax authorities and the length of time being taken here is unusually long.

Afternoon. I can confirm we have seen the formal offer. Regards, Ed. Many thanks for the prompt response Ed, good news Yep good news. I would have thought the borrower would want to sort out the outstanding interest asap rather than having to declare it outstanding as part of the refinance to the mainstream lender.
