A few months ago I would just have taken the promise from MT of a FULL update NEXT week for what it says. But............................ let's see, shall we. 18 days now since a FULL update NEXT week was promised ( yes, I accept it was 'expect' rather than 'promise' but a repeated failure of the borrower or 3rd party to provide critical information required for an update merits an update in itself). This isn't the first time, or the first loan, on which MT have failed in their obligation to communicate effectively with lenders. And now 18 days later an holding update has appeared on the site. The update runs for 37 words and shifts the date for an update of any subtance by at least one more week and probably longer because it requires a post-visit report to be received before we can be told anything. We were told on 23rd May - nearly 10 weeks ago - that The Bailey Partnership were making fortnightly monitoring visits with one due the following day. That means that Bailey will (or at least should) have visited 5 times since the last update but still a further visit and a further report is required before we get the courtesy of an update. In everyday life I am the most reasonable, most mild mannered of people but this is getting me really angry now. They are casual and offhand with their occasional communications and have no regard at all for the people who provide the money to keep their business going. Are they crooks like at least one other platform I could name? I don't know but I am seeing very little evidence to tell me that are any different.

If it's any consolation, the website seems to have changed since I last checked about 4/6 weeks ago.

Website may have changed but, in my opinion, it fails to comply with companies act and other legislation for example
My understanding is you must display registered information relating to the identity of your business. This includes:
company name
registered number
place of registration
registered office address
contact details, including an email address
details of how to contact business by non-electronic means
the VAT number of business, if applicable

If it's any consolation, the loan ends in 10 days. But I very much doubt it will end with full repayment of capital & all accrued interest

But I very much doubt it will end with full repayment of capital & all accrued interest And if this were Assetz or Crowdstacker or one of the better platforms then that doubt would have been conveyed to us by now by them so we would know what we are dealing with. MT just leave us to guess.

Reading the new and improved website, it would seem matters have progressed somewhat from the latest description we have available -
"The Finish of [snip] is amazing. It has been well worth the wait. " "....I think the quality of the finish is right up to the mark. " ".... the difference is spectacular. "
Opening hours are also listed, which seems odd (and confusing for customers) if it's not open yet!

Can't say I am surprised but always worrying when there are mistakes on a website.
Under tips in about it says If you have any dietary requirements please inform the person person serving you
Also the quotes not actually staying in the boxes provided looks very poor.

You're going to like this, especially you Queen Vic...... people on site working, car park all marked out and a road sweeping machine cleaning it as I watched.I'm told the car park is opening next week, there's a ticket machine installed so it's not just for customers and the centre is opening next month. I know we've been here before but perhaps finally it will actually open, here's hoping

Dont hold your breath folks
