It is the majority of those who expressed an opinion. It's marketing BS so you shouldn't expect rigorous unambiguous reporting of statistics.

Nothing worth reading any more.
Expect these phantom members to be inundating Lendy that they don’t want this anymore so they can revert to monthly updates then no updates at all because ‘none of the other platforms offer it’.

It is the majority of those who expressed an opinion. It's marketing BS so you shouldn't expect rigorous unambiguous reporting of statistics. But it actually states ' with the majority of respondents, 46.3%...'. No room for ambiguity there.

A bit like the Brexit majority of 37%............. Just saying. I'm confused!! I thought 51.89% voted to leave. 48.11% voted to remain on a turnout of 72.21%. Mind you, the Tories managed to remain in power with only 42.4% of the vote in the General Election. Doesn't feel very democratic to me!!

Put it this way if it was the other way around they would argue ‘only a minority are in favour’ because the sum of the other two are greater.
What will happen will happen, this faux customer consultation is a sham and an unsubtle one at that.

Just skimmed the weekly BS. Since when did 46.3% constitute a majority? Under the 'first past the post' electoral system.

Just skimmed the weekly BS. Since when did 46.3% constitute a majority? And they probably only reported the answers to the meaningless first question (i.e. "would you invest in an auto-investment product?") and totally ignored the responses to the much more meaningful question about specific rates. A well known trick of politicians.

I can't see this product working for Lendy, especially given the rate that they intend to offer!

Lendy probably wouldn't expect to sell much of that product to us. Their much bigger target is the people who don't use financial advisers and have zillions of pounds of cash sitting in bank accounts earning about 1%.

those rates makes no sense at all. wouldn't i get a similar result just by prefunding all new loans?

It obviously depends on how the new bonds would be backed. By Lendy? By a PF? This product IMO is not designed to meet the needs of most, on this platform. I spend time doing my best to ensure I know who I am investing in. To give this up and trust Lendy to do greater DD in return for lower returns, does not add up.
