Following my previous polls in 2015 and 2016 ( www.p2pmoney.co.uk/awards.htm) I will be running another poll for your preferred P2P lending platform(s) in 2017. The previous winners in 2016 were MoneyThing, Saving Stream (now Lendy) and Assetz Capital. The winners will receive a engraved trophy to add to their awards cabinets. Unlike other P2P awards there is no entry fee! All peer-to-peer platform that have a board here are included, but if there is a platform you would want to vote for that is not included then please select "other". Everyone can have up to three votes. The poll will close at 6pm on the 1st December when the results will be announced. While platform reps are not permitted to vote, I would encourage the platforms to promote this forum among their lenders. Edit from Forum Staff - Will Platform Representatives kindly respect the request to refrain from voting.

I was wondering if you were going to do this again this year easteregg. My own efforts are more limited, such as no actual prizes, but I do expect to be doing my usual round up of platforms, disappointments and similar in January or early February.

Great poll.
Could you add another category of award.
Maybe platforms that are the easiest to lose money on. Another could be the best (truest) display of default statistics based on set criteria.
Biggest whopper told on platform would probably bring interesting results. I am sure others could be added.

It seems the enthusiasm of “Platform Reps” knows no bounds, despite the warning (now highlighted) in the opening post, they’re voting with enthusiasm. The Forum staff are sure your votes come from your passion and commitment for the sector, and are cast in truly altruistic fashion and without favour – however, we feel it is not really quite in the spirit of the award.
We are therefore, requesting that all Platform Representatives refrain from voting, and those that have withdraw their vote (by simply unticking their vote).
Thank you for your co-operation.

Still don't know why Bondmason are not on the list since they do have a board. Thought they might have been left off accidentally and might have been added by now. I'll give a vote to them as 'another'.

Hi panda , perhaps Bondmason are not strictly classified as p2p anymore because upwards of 70% of their loan offerings have their origins Outwith the p2p sector as we know and see it here. All the best, James. I didn't think it ever was a p2p platform. BM buys loans and facilitates the purchase and sales of loan parts to lenders in the form of receivables. However, it does work for lenders in very similar way as any other 'autobid' platform/option. BM may not formally fit the criteria, but I think it should be included in p2p polls/reviews/listings.

Sorry for the delay in replying. We decided to omit Bondmason as they are not loan originators. While I believe they - and others like them - have an important role in peer-to-peer lending, they are acting as a supermarket of loan providers. People can still vote for them under "other" and mention them in the comments.

Wise Alpha gets my third vote (in second place). Does it count as P2P?

Having said that, if this poll is strictly purely 'P2P' then we are happy to be omitted. Over half of the underlying loans across BondMason are from outside P2P Lending - established property bridge lenders and asset backed lenders.

Crowdstacker in an IFISA, not sure why it doesn't have a board on here.
