Visited this property earlier today (photos attached) No progress appears to have been made since I last looked, there was nobody on site and a quick look inside suggests this is far from completion. The upper story extension can be seen in photo 1. P.s. have attempted to attach photos but keep getting message quote “file too big “ any of you IT nerds out there have any suggestions ? Im hardly an IT nerd and its dependent (possibly) on what you used to take your pics. If its a digital camera (I have an old Fuji Finepix) I have software on my lappy that will resize your default file pics from perhaps several Mb's to a few hundred Kb's..without any noticeable loss of clarity.. mrclondon or brummiefred may be able to help ? Edit..crossed with james21 's response

jonno .... put simply the forum's storage space for files is virtually full, so we have to restrict the size of attachments. The approach you need to adopt is to upload the photos to a photo hosting site - I'm currently using postimages.org , upload the photos and make a copy of the direc link it generates, then click the insert image icon in the editor toolbar on this forum (3rd from the left of the RH group)

Certainly not a techie, but if you upload your photos to imgur.com/upload?beta (which is free and doesn't require a sign-up), and then follow the instructions in this post you should be able to post them all as images in one post.
The forum's got very limited free capacity for attachments - it's nearly full and once it is no-one will be able to attach anything. We've more or less given up trying to get people to use images rather than attachments, mainly due to our own lack of capacity to deal with it.
X-posted with mrclondon , but same message essentially.

Thanks to jonno for his time and effort - as to why FS can't do this defeats me.
I think the chance of finishing before 31st October is slim!

Update received:
This will suit FS as it will (in their eyes, at least, and if previous 'form' is anything to go by) allow them to maximise their fees. (For clarity, I'm making a distinction between FS and CG's own 2.5%++ fee.)

29/10/2021 - On 6 August 2021, an increased offer of £X was received from an unconnected third party. This offer was recommended for acceptance by the Receivers. Contracts were exchanged at the end of September 2021 and completion is due in mid-November 2021.
With a total loan capital sum of £550k I'd estimate a return to lenders of c. 70%

31/01/2022 - "The sale for this property completed later than anticipated in December 2021. Net funds have been received. The costs position is being finalised and an estimated return to investors is being prepared and will follow once finalised."
Well, the wording might have changed, but Lenders still ain't getting their money back anytime soon, it seems....
