Ablrate is a new platform that specialises in aircraft and equipment leasing. It has released its first loan today related to an aircraft. The model is based on a successful underlying business and the website is pretty comprehensive. As part of your research, you will need to get your head around how the aircraft industry leases and values aircraft. Loans will be bigger than the boats on Savingstream. This is in a bigger league, although in a smaller league than the successful Doric Nimrod Investment trusts that lease aircraft to the Emirates. The first offering is for 100k at 10% for 6 years. They have also developed a secondary market for when they get going. www.ablrate.com/page/welcomeMaybe worth a separate entry under More p2x sites

This looks interesting. I tried to register this morning, but the promised verification email necessary to complete the process has not yet arrived. Has anyone else had any success? I hope this platform will turn out to be a welcome addition to the present source of secured loans.

Hi smee
We are looking to work with email providers to have our email server marked as not spam, but on some occassions the verification mail may end up in spam/junkbox. I will speak with the techies to see if there is an issue, but if you let us know what email you have registered with, or your name, we can verify your email on the back end of the system and you will be good to go.
Regards

I suggest you post on here when you have a functioning email system, as I can't imagine many will be willing to consider investing with a company that can't communiacte by email.

Registered and verified via email in the early hours this morning with no problems although I'll hang on a bit before commiting funds.

I'm not impressed with the registration process at all. The captcha is a real pain - 0 o O are hard to distinguish, characters disappear off the bottom margin so g p q are indistinguishable, and there is no advance button if you land with a poor image. The password has to be minimum 8 with upper and lowercase and punctuation characters (good for those with a younger memory). And once you've mastered those, you are told you've not selected the usertype (which turns out to be some icons that look like they are background images not part of the registration form). Awful.
The next step is name, address and id verification - which looks as if it can only be achieved by entering the machine code strip details from your passport.
And the final step is email verification, which as already noted isn't working (at least for some of us).

I can't see any way of adding it now, so I'll wait for a response from Ablrate (hope I won't need passport number because I haven't got one. - Yes, there really are people without passports!)

Hi We have received your mail and have responded. Thanks for your feedback I've NOT received your response. Its not in the spam folder either, but if your domain is being flagged as a spammer which is what your earlier post implied, email from it will be dropped by most reputable ISP's (mine's a BT subsidiary) long before hitting individuals email accounts (Inbox or spam folder). Hence my point about posting on here when you've fixed your systems so they are not being interpreted as spam.

Hi As per mail, we will be looking at adding a new captcha system.. as an advance button should be there as you suggest. I take your feedback on the registration process. I think perhaps we should have lender already activated and then if you want to register as a business or intermediary you can select something different. We will implement that, thanks. With the FCA pretty hot on anti-money laundering we have to take ID, of course. We can add in an input box for a driving license number, that was something we have been looking at which some may find easier (especially those without passports!) Unfortunately we tried to just have the passport number inputted, but the Tracesmart system requires the whole number at the bottom. We have tried to make that as intuitive as we can - with the chevrons pre-completed for UK, and an option for international numbers (we have had some international passport registrations that have passed). Excellent feedback, we will get on to it.

Ablrate. It seems that part of the registration process was missed out for me and I am not able to amend it or re-register. I haven't had a PM from you in reply to mine, and if you've emailed I haven't received it. Please would you let me know if you need to arrange for me to re-register (it might be safer to P. Message me)
Edit. I've just seen your previous post and it seems that at the moment I can't register anyway without a passport.

Hence my point about posting on here when you've fixed your systems so they are not being interpreted as spam. Hi mrclondon My emails went out shortly after posting, I hope you have received it now. I have sent a ticket to Rackspace to see if there is an underlying issue with the email server but we are receiving and sending OK, but thanks for highlighting, if there is an underlying issue Rackspace will get it done shortly. On the domain being flagged. We use a dedicated server from Rackspace with secure emailing system, so we are not on anyone's neighborhood for spamming (as you may be on a shared server, for example). However, we have noticed an issue with Outlook that can flag some mails as spam in a small number of cases, and we are looking into why that would be. We have raised the issue with Rackspace and are looking for a solution from their end. On the emails: Info - at- ablrate.com goes to customer services team - being the weekend it may take longer for a response during the week, but it will get seen as it is copied to myself as a director and I aim to respond as soon as possible. As we grow, we will have coverage for the weekend. support - at- ablrate.com goes to customer services, copied to myself and also copied into our ticketing system which is accessed by all and approached as a ticket item where we can respond directly through the platform. As you point out, however, this is a problem if you haven’t or can’t log in - but a live person will still see any support@ email. This system is from Freshdesk and has a number of functions such as our own forums, FAQ and feature requests etc. It might seem overkill right now, but we aim to get our customers services right. Admin - at- ablrate.com goes to our admin team, copied to myself. Thanks again for your feedback, we will post back with responses on these items from our developers and hope to have those fixed/changed in the first few days of the week.

ablrate just to confirm - I've not received any emails from you. Also you'll have noted that my email address is not with outlook, but is a subdomain off my ISP (a plusnet brand) who is responsible for all email spam filtering. I suspect those with gmail / hotmail and similiar email addresses will be fne, but those with ISP based accounts or those subscribing to MessageLabs or equivalent filtering service will find ablrate emails dropped. I do have other concerns, but am not inclined to make the effort to articulate them until I can see that your base level systems are fit for purpose.
