Is it really possible that faced with a massive increase in the price of gas, there is no market for electricity generated by burning wood chip or for wood chip based heating systems? The paucity of information beggars belief.

Dear Abundance In view of the recent price hikes in energy consumption. It would be nice to have some updates relating to how The Monnow Valley project is performing since it was restructured. Or are we investors now just casted off?

I've just written to Ab******e pointing out that while we investors might not like the answers we get. the least Ab*******ce can do is ask the questions on our behalf.

What is it all this talk about shares, I've just read an article with one of the owners that said all investments are structured via loans not equity as they are easier to understand.
Anyone recommend Abundance seeing that its min. investment is £5?
The loans look like they take months to fill, does that mean no interest ?
What is the percentage of problem loans, non paying interest or capital, against the total number of current loans ?

You are not on the Abundance thread, You are on a specific thread about a specific Abundance non-paying loan, which in default was converted to shares. Were there a market, facilitated by Abundance this particular share holder would happily sell you his third of a million shares at face value.

Encouraging update today regarding my 35,000 shares in the ill-fated enterprise. They appear to be generating electricity, getting good prices for it - including selling to the business park which is better than selling to the grid. But they mentioned that cash flow is tight and it's not all plain sailing. Overall much better than I'd expected and feared

Who's have thought it, having told us the machines were as good as scrap, if administrators were called in the business would be worth nothing, and forcing investors to accept that the management had reduced a 4 million pound investment to nothing and handing us some penny shares, suddenly the lights are all back on and all the generators are buzzing along just fine.

That's one way of looking at it. The truth is that whilst investor returns are not guaranteed, the directors' Salaries will be and they'll be paid promptly, monthly and without fail.

I thought that my thousands of shares were already worth very little but I suspect that there may be even further dilution on the way over the coming months.

Did we ever establish whether or not all the Abundance loans to all the constituent parts of this nest of companies trading between themselves at prices determined by their shared directors were treated fairly and equally by Abundance? My view is that the paucity of information released by Abundance is such that we do not know. People who bought into more than one of the loans should be able to tell us more. Was any of the M****w V****y debt repaid in full?
