I have to agree that I've found CR's customer service to be pretty good. One good advantage they have over other platforms is that they're willing to wait for ISA transfers to be processed after you've committed to invest in a loan. You need to get the transfer form to them within 7 days, but they're happy to wait a few weeks for the cash to be transferred.
I've only had one loan complete on CR so far, but there were no issues to report other than it completed a month early. Cash was returned promptly.
I've taken my usual slice of today's loan at 9.65% per annum.

December 24 2020: "CapitalRise has lent £92m and expects to reach its £100m lending milestone in early 2021, after witnessing a surge in demand from both borrowers and lenders this year ... Over the past 12 months, CapitalRise has screened £5.5bn of loans, secured against prime central London properties and prime properties in the South East of England." www.p2pfinancenews.co.uk/2020/12/24/capitalrise-nears-100m-milestone-after-record-demand-in-2020/Note for the forum moderators - doesn't this platform deserve promotion to the "More P2x Sites" board in 2021? Sometimes a relatively small number of posts for a platform means no bad news to discuss, and we are certainly short of non-negative threads these days.

CR is one of the best performing platforms so far. Their latest: This latest redemption now brings the total amount we have repaid to investors in capital and returns, to almost £34 million. We're proud to maintain our strong track record of no investment losses or defaults to date, and continue to offer average investment returns of 9.5%p.a*.

CR seem to be coming in on Kensington Park Gardens part way through. Is this a refinance? Does anyone recognise the project from another p2p platform? Although the LTGDV is low, we have seen other projects (but not on CR) where the borrower has defaulted whilst the works are in progress then negotiated a partial haircut, because if the half done project is repossessed it will be almost impossible to find any other developer willing to take it on. The numbers are mind blowing, even for London.

www.p2pfinancenews.co.uk/2021/03/09/capitalrise-completes-chelsea-deal-to-reach-100m-origination-milestone/"CapitalRise has passed the £100m lending milestone with the completion of a multi-million-pound deal in London’s Chelsea. The prime property lender announced that it has advanced a senior loan for the acquisition and redevelopment of a multi-million-pound residential property in Chelsea, which is being undertaken by the prime property developer Wilben Developments. In 2020, CapitalRise facilitated 10 multi-million-pound loans, funding assets worth almost £120m in gross development value across prime locations across England."

Hi Has anyone got the inside track on how profitable and financially secure are CR ? According to this www.p2pfinancenews.co.uk/2020/12/24/capitalrise-nears-100m-milestone-after-record-demand-in-2020/, "the company posted a loss of almost £1.5m in the 12 months ending 31 July 2020, roughly in line with the previous year’s losses". To be expected from such a young and fast growing company. I've been very satisfied with my loans there, having been with them for a little over 2 years now.

New loan today, 7.45%, 63% LTV first charge, £5000 reservation limit.
EDIT: And High Wycombe loan repaid in full.
"The latest redemption now brings the total amount we have repaid to investors in capital and returns to over £36 million with an average rate of return of 9.5%pa*. We're proud to maintain our strong track record of no investment losses or defaults to date.
Despite the ongoing effects of COVID-19, all of our investments are currently on track. We believe this is a testament to the quality of Prime real estate we select, and the rigour of our underwriting processes."
