It is of course up to Ub, but I would prefer if they stay "pure" instead of stealing dodgy "Lendy" loans. I personally like the simplicity of it - very little work for me to do for a relatively safe investment with a decent return. I think they are brilliant at what they are doing. Expanding to property loans can be too challenging. Apart from adding complexity to their working pattern and website, there will be lots of angry investors demanding detailed information, updates, images etc.

They already do business loans, so lots of room to grow there.
They can still grow significantly in auction and Pawn loans too.
They would be up against LY, FS, MT, COL etc... if they dabble in property...

Congratulations to Rito, Ashwin and team on your promotion to the Upper Board, well done.
Promotion to Upper Board = Many more potential new investors will take notice of Unbolted.
More new Unbolted investors = Less loan availability/More cash drag for existing investors
Less loan availability/More cash drag for existing investors =

Less loan availability/More cash drag for existing investors = Indeed, looks like an existing problem is only going to get worse.

well it brought them to my attention and I just tried to spend some time trying to chat with them online, but .... I felt that they did not want to engage while the chat mechanism was a bit clunky and they wandered off without really answering, maybe busy making money... I'll leave it for a bit before I try with them again when they have had time to evolve. 8% and 10.5% with provision of a sort

Most of investments are between £5 and £10 and you get about 2-4 of them per working day on average (at least in my experience). Thus, only suitable for small investors. I wouldn't recommend depositing more than £100 at a time to avoid a massive cash drag. It is best to be drip fed as required.

ashwinp - congratulations on reaching the Top rank of most discussed platforms. Forgive my impatience, but I note the tax statement page hasn't been updated to include the interest payment monthly split for November 2017.
