/Mod hat on pharcyde - your post has been merged into the existing thread for this loan. Btw you'll find an example of why someone is/was selling out at a loss further up the thread (see posts by syalith ) Thanks Dan. I'm another who first decided no, changed my mind and bought, then sold out at a loss. Good riddance to it and good luck to the buyer.

The discount on this has now reached the maximum 1% so anyone who hasn't sold is now likely stuck with this until the end.
I managed to get all mine sold with minimal loss by undercutting the largest discount each time until it was all gone and I'm glad I did.

The discount on this has now reached the maximum 1% so anyone who hasn't sold is now likely stuck with this until the end. Equally as likely is at the beginning of the new tax year in April (if not before), IFISA purchasers will drive the discounts back down. The SM is particuarly swamped at present .... a BH has been offloading a six figure sum split across several loans recently, and the 31st Jan tax bill is looming large for many. I've been picking up quite a lot at very attractive discounts. That said, I'm not in this loan, have never been, and never will be.

Update on website:
"The borrower has confirmed refinancing has been agreed, which will repay the loan in full. A payment on account in the sum of £36,000 was received as a non-refundable deposit to withdraw the property from auction, and completion of the refinance is anticipated for mid-May. The received funds will be held in the client account, awaiting the balance, at which time the loan will be closed. If the loan is not refinanced in full by the end of May 2020, then the property will be re-entered into auction."
Amazing what a little coercion will do to hurry things along...
A ray of sunshine amongst the clouds.

The fact that he might lose a property with only 30% LTV does help focus the mind.

Strange that I never received an email update re this Loan, despite having a substantial amount. I have been receiving many other Loan Updates, incl the Granary one. Did anyone receive any emails or was it simply credited to Lenders' Accounts (I got my Capital and Part Interest though) ?

I tend to get emails for updates, but I've noticed I don't get notified for repayments with no accompanying update
