Pleased to see that this is not going ahead. I never felt that a non-asset backed loan was right for MT. LW While not keen on the switch to non-asset backed loans, I thought the underlying business looked strong enough to justify taking a slice. Now must resist the temptation to double up on the Bradford loan!

Agreed on both counts but my investment was a very small three figure investment. Hopefully another new loan will appear imminently otherwise I will have deposited funds for no reason

Bet I can't get the rate I sold a few grand of 15% loan back!
Debenture over established manufacturing company with sizeable fixed assets, liquid assets, long term profits and a government receivable (of some sort) in the post was asset backed in my book 😉 /chartered accountant hat on.

Can I ask if there was an email declaring this loan being pulled?

Can I ask if there was an email declaring this loan being pulled? It would appear not, which is something that needs to be addressed by Moneything fairly quickly. Not the first time recently when I have discovered on here something I should have already known. An email notification of any changes should be an automatic first step. Interesting loan though, quite liked the concept.

Email notification of any repayments, regardless of reason, should be sent automatically.

Email notification of any repayments, regardless of reason, should be sent automatically. With the ability to opt in or out of interest payments... else that’s a lot of emails. Unless you mean capital repayments, in which case, as you were.

Agreed, it would have been good customer service to have sent an email out regarding this. Money could have sat there uninvested, whilst I thought it was earning.

A business that makes money & IMO a better bet than some of the so called 'secured' & over valued property we see on many of the P2P platforms. I invested last time & will invest again tomorrow.
