none available now. all sold I sold a thousand to check liquidity, then there was only a thousand and a bit left when I next looked, so I bought it back! I reckon availability (and a selling queue of sorts) will soon be apparent. Or indeed non-availability and a buying queue - currently at £200!

ablrate can you let us know when the first DPL will launch? Is it likely to be before the end of this tax year?

I've bought and sold a few times just to get the hang of it. Might end up being a revolving door approach.

We are working on the liquidity in these loans being more fluid around loans times.

The only obvious lubricant for liquidity (in portfolio loans) is underwriting, or (very similar) the ability for 'regular punters' to queue bids/offers at variable rates (like 'I'll take £1000 off anyone's hands if they'll settle for 99% .. just like the regular loan SM in fact). Fixed price only ever result in feast or famine .. just look elsewhere for proof (mostly currently stuck in 'feast' mode).

Or to have a cash buffer like AC on QAA and 30 day accounts.

Or to have a cash buffer like AC on QAA and 30 day accounts. Yes, that'd work for people wanting out. Might not work for people wanting in though, unless ablrate is willing to allow the cash buffer to swell to some larger than usual size.

Cash buffer would presumably reduce returns though, right? Yes (unless the tooth fairy DOES exist). Perhaps it would just be better to stop thinking about it as a pot to store money until the next loan and look at it more as somewhere productive to put interest payments until there is enough to be worthwhile withdrawing.
