I have been allocated two loans both 25%, think I'll wait for the changes in February before risking any more. I used a slightly different approach. I invested £1500 but in chunks of £150 and £75. As each was invested, I added another chunk. My biggest loan finished at 15.7% followed by a couple around 11.5% (none in #441). This took a bit more effort than investing it all in one go, but seems to result in a reasonable spread.

I'm also intending to drip-feed money into my ISA. I noted today that that a number of the loans that became 20% holdings yesterday via my first chunk of investment now are showing no (or very few) parts available for sale, so when my next chunk gets invested I don't expect to pick up any more of those loans. As a result, those 20% holdings should become 10% holdings after the second chunk and hopefully become further diluted as more chunks are invested. Of course, the system may not actually do what I expect! I invested £1500 but in chunks of £150 and £75. As each was invested, I added another chunk. My biggest loan finished at 15.7% followed by a couple around 11.5% (none in #441). This took a bit more effort than investing it all in one go, but seems to result in a reasonable spread. What worked for hantsowl did not work for me. The system definitely did not do what I was expecting. My first chunk was put into a few loans -- 20% each into four, and the remaining 20% spread among the others. Then I put in a second chunk -- the same size as the first -- and the system put 80% of that into a single loan!!!
Luckily it wasn't a loan I had invested in with my first chunk, so I ended up with 40% (??!!??) of my total holding in that single loan. The February system update can't come soon enough for me.

Not that I'm in a rush to invest in it, but if I was, GBBA2 hasn't yet appeared on my dashboard

I thought current diversification is irrelevant because come February the algorithm will diversify it all. So the risk is a default after just one month, which is unlikely. No?

Just an update put 4 figure sum drip fed in over nearly two weeks, largest holding 7% and top three total 18%. To be honest they are not bad loans. What happens if I reduce my cash to invest into manual side when ISA allows it may be a different question but relatively happy with that.

why has it not appeared in some others dashboard? No idea. Seems odd to me. Previously all newly introduced accounts appeared on my dashboard immediately after launch. It is 9 days since the launch and I still don't have it on my dashboard. Not an issue for me as I'm not planning to use it in near future, but I thought it could be useful to highlight the problem.

There is a technical issue affecting some accounts. If you cant see it and want to then youll have to give CS a shout so they can add you to the list of affected accounts.

Every time I try adding to my GBBA2 the system buys an awful lot of one loan. I just added £100 to my account, and the system put £70 of that into a single loan (#470). My account already was overweight in that loan, and it now has 33% of its total value in that one loan. I know things are supposed to get a lot better when the new allocation system is activated in a month or so, but my experience with the system so far hasn't been confidence-building. I think I'm going to have to wait until the new system goes live and I can then watch the reports here to see whether it is the improvement we're all hoping for. If it is, that'd be great and I'll be happy to try topping up my ISA again. If not...

I only put £100 in for a trial and found I was not well diversified. This thread confirms the issues with allocations so no further funds going in until this is sorted - hopefully in February.
