ablrate there is notification that the borrower, E*w!n A!r C*rg* Ltd, has applied to be struck-off and dissolved. Please can we have an update what is happening with this loan? Are you taking action to prevent the dissolution? This is a UK business, not the one we are taking action against. Admin note today.

There are a number of loans that are well overdue a meaningful update: Containers - 5 months since last meaningful update (but this one will be fine because the platform promised that they will find a solution whereby nobody will lose out) Air freight - 3 months, no update Valve spares - 3 months, no meaningful update Standby gas - almost 4 months, no meaningful update Aircraft disassembling - 3 months, no meaningful update various distressed pubs - +/- 4 months, no update The communication around these loans with problems is one of ablrate 's biggest problems (IMO)

Totally agree re. communications. Can somebody please remind me how many years and months it has been since the container loans defaulted?

Totally agree re. communications. Can somebody please remind me how many years and months it has been since the container loans defaulted? It’s okay. ABLrate have stated nobody will lose out on this one so we’ll all get capital and overdue interest back

Defaulted 1 June 2021, owes £111k. 'We will distribute the funds on account tomorrow [was done 29 Jun] and provide a further update by 09/07/21 or as soon as we receive a further response from the borrower.'

This loan which defaulted in April 19 is becoming a bit of a joke ! ablrate we must be well overdue an admin note on this one? even if it is the usual " covid is delaying getting engineers out to view the aircraft"

I have sent a message about this loan through the website. It has been ignored. That's a red flag for me, generally means there is no good outcome. Time to leave the ship where possible?

Some might suggest it is hard to see red flags for warning signs currently. The secondary market suggests confidence is 'below par' at the moment. Some positive news (and better still payments) would seem to be needed. Communication is not great at the moment, that really should be improved.

Agree 100% about the communications David ablrate keeps promising improved and regular communications BUT keeps failing to deliver it. I know many say they prefer his time is spent on recovery etc but it is David himself who isn't delivering to the expectations he sets. Come on David use the new office to its full effect.

If these aircraft could not be sold in recent times when few passenger planes (which carry the bulk of cargo) were flying it is hard to see why they would sell now. I hope I'm proved wrong.
