Or, if you wish to delay repayment/renewal of your loan for a while, you could also consider alternatively just being dead for a little bit:
Newark loan: 6712822859
26/02: We have been advised that the borrower has passed away. Our charge on the property remains in place - we are now awaiting confirmation and contact from the executor of the estate, after which a further update will be posted.
22/03: Unfortunately, the previous update was incorrect - an error apparently caused by a third party confusing the borrower with someone with a similar name. The borrower has been in contact and will shortly be paying the outstanding interest to renew the loan.
I don't know where to begin...

This update must rate as one of the most ridiculous ever Why would FS be communicating with a 3rd party? Stop spooning out sh**e FS, we are not stupid

Interested about the "deceased" person and the Newark loan Here's a funny thing: I wondered if this loan was due for repayment well, would you believe it, it was due on 07.02.18! So why would a mysterious third party report the charge holder to be dead? The only explanation I can give of is that the charge holder did this via a contact for delaying tactics - surely that can't be right!
Not sure what the legal (let alone ethical) position is reporting living people as deceased
Can anybody tell me what I am missing - I thank you.
Wonder if any building has actually started...
I have a ouija board for sale if anybody from the grave wants to apply for a FS loan which should not be a problem...

On top of everything - have you noticed how does the wording of the latest update sound:
Unfortunately..... (the borrower is alive).
I thought that's a good turn, isn't it?
Or they wanted to say something like "unfortunately, the borrower can be dead only for a short period of time".
If the third party was a broker, how many clients would he have with one and the same name and wouldn't he be cautious when reporting one of them is dead?
And why it took FS almost a month for the latest update? Weren't they supposed to be in touch with the executor of the estate straight away?

FS response to this matter on Trustpilot site
Thank you for your email. As you correctly stated we were advised by a broker that he understood the borrower had passed away. As they had presiously represented the borrower we had no reason to doubt the information. An update was therefore posted and we contacted the borrower's solicitor. As soon as it was confirmed that the broker was incorrect the details were updated. The broker has since apologised as they confused two clients with very similar names.
The borrower has since paid the interest due and, as soon as the funds are cleared, all investors will be paid appropriately.
This incident was an unfortunate case of mistaken identity, but at no stage was there any risk to investors funds.
FundingSecure
So almost a month to find out if a person is dead or alive......................what a lot of codswallop

Yet another schoolboy error from FS in their latest updates
2728647470 Busine** Cen**e in Live**ool - 4th loan - Renewal
04/05/2018
We can confirm that payments have made to the warranty company and we expect certificates to be issued on Tuesday. Borrower's solicitor is sending contracts to the buyer next week.
Think that update refers to the many Fo*m*y development tranches as below
