What's your loan chunk size? (i.e., the size of the average loan share from that period).

All I see is a normal positive return from Zopa. Expected return from Zopa plus is 5%+, is your £562.77 net earnings better than 5%?
My worst new default of the month with Zopa Plus is 1.45% while expected default rate is 5.5% a year. Having said that, I haven't seen my annual default higher than expected from Zopa plus.

A better check might be to do the full 2017 annual statement check as well. My loansize is approx 25x less than yours benaj. My exposure to Plus is at roughly 10% and my worst month in 2017 was November and that was 3 loans was about 47%. Over the whole year though my default rate was 10.7% loss against the interest earned. This equates however to an overall rate of 4.44% that does not include my early adopter and I ignored returned default money (capital/interest) I'll live with that. It might have been a lot worse though if the SG defaults were not covered I had many more of those than the ones in the plus side.

At least you made a profit. Yet another loss for me, albeit small. What’s more interesting to me is my earnings figure is now less than it was in June 2017. ie 6 months of zero earnings! HNY Zopa indeed!

Hmm, so is that £80 interest earned before new default from your 1000 individual loans? what's your Zopa plus annual return for 2017?

In fairness I did relatively well for the first 6 months of 2017. Because I had(/have) classic and access loans too and have been withdrawing repayments it’s difficult to calculate a 2017 return. I’d guess around 4.5% including Plus and classic and around 4% max from Plus on its own. The problem is I haven’t made a penny in the last 6 months! I really can’t see a sudden upturn so 2018 isn’t looking like it has any chance of matching 2017. Missed payments are getting higher, defaults will no doubt continue to follow and I fail to see how the next 6 months or year will return anything over break even! I’d bail out but there’s the fee and the fact that so many loans can’t be sold due to missed payments. Had I made my 4% on Plus from a variety of monthly returns I wouldn’t be concerned. I understand how it works but when it’s 6 ok months followed by 6 months of nothing and losses I don’t see me getting outta here with a profit. As someone who’s been with Zopa from the start it’s a shame I’ve lost all faith and trust in them forever.

Well, I am still selling my 2.26% of all my lifetime investment in Zopa at the moment. I started selling back in November, I couldn't believe it.
It tells me I am earning "At 17.1%" and Projected return of 7.7%, like telling me this is the best investment of all time and doesn't match monthly statement earnings.

Not sure what you mean there 2.26% is that in ISA or Invest?. Blimey I'm not sure I'd be selling at a PJ of 7.7% What products are these and how are you getting such high amounts.

I am selling the remaining 2.26% portfolio of my zopa plus, I have started selling them since nov'17. The remaining portfolio contains mainly D and E loans, hence Zopa tells me I am "earning" at 17.1%. They can call it whatever they like.

This seems to be standard - when I recently sold my Access holding the sale process seemed to stall on the last 1% of the requested amount. Taken together with the loans that couldn't be sold at that time, I ended up with around £60 still invested at a return of 6%
