I've spent much of this afternoon and evening checking out different P2P platforms, and Blend looks interesting. I'm currently with Lendy, FS, Ablrate, MT and Collateral, so tend to go for the higher rate (= higher risk no I don't think so) platforms. Does anyone have any thoughts about Blend? I'd also like to know how long they've been operating - this info doesn't seem to be available on their site.

In case you haven't seen it... p2pindependentforum.com/thread/9582/blend-network-launchOthers on here know much more but it appears to be an entry into the platform arena by F&P (introducers on TC and MT), similar in that respect to Huddle Capital (who also fit with your higher rate preference).

2 loans when they launched, then nothing at all for 4 months, then this latest one. Jury is out.

Been invested in one Pub Loan since Sept 17 at a VERY modest four figures. Loan flow is slow to non-existent as mentioned and the current offering whilst looking reasonable is from the dreaded (for me!) Northern Ireland. So I didn't invest.
Not aware of any reasons to not invest via them, except for the slow Loan flow and minimum £1,000 per Loan. Secondary market not much chop, because of so few Loans obvs!

Thanks everyone for the tips about Blend. It looks like one to leave alone for the most part, until they're up and running properly. My all time favourite platform right now is FS because of the ease of building a diverse portfolio. Off to the FS forum now!

I agree that it's nice when platforms are responsive and helpful. But I think I'll maybe hold off on Blend for a while, and give them time to grow a bit before I dive in and invest.
