No no, there is LOTS of good news, as long as you are an administrator, receiver, or lawyer. Even borrowers may be happy-ish. Not so sunny for Lenders though. Perhaps time for a(nother) name change to something like "Borrowy"? faily comes to mind

Maybe if funds are an issue Lendy should seek some sponsorship? Maybe Cowes Week could sponsor them?(!)

As we all wave a sad goodbye to the once weekly then monthly highly creative Lendy BS we can rejoice that many prisoners of the increasing number of Lendy defaults have now received text messages seeking to persuade them to throw more money into further tranches of ever lasting loans.
Wishful thinking by Lendy because I got these daft text messages for 2 new tranches in loans I have no investments. Either their investment base is wrong or they have inadvertently revealed their utter incompetence.
Hello to the new and creative Lendy SMS daily BS perhaps?

I made a list of loans where, based on last month update, we should expect some (partial or full) form of repayment before the end of the year:
Loan Expected Date Loan Value
PBL177 23/11/18 £483,000 sold at auction
PBL178 23/11/18 £1,144,500 sold at auction
PBL179 23/11/18 £1,050,000 sold at auction
DFL026 29/11/18 £1,331,522 We expect the loan to be fully repaid on or before the loan maturity date
DFL008 30/11/18 £9,244,192 we expect the refinance to complete before the end of November 2018
DFL035 30/11/18 £523,186 we expect the refinance to complete before the end of November 2018
DFL031 06/12/18 £1,296,086 The borrower has advised that the loan will be refinanced before expiry
PBL095 25/12/18 £1,890,000 we anticipate being in a position to make the partial capital repayment to investors of c65% of capital before the festive period
PBL133 25/12/18 £309,591 The borrower expects to be able to settle the full outstanding sums shortly and by the start of the festive period at the latest
PBL194 25/12/18 £288,959 The borrower expects to be able to settle the full outstanding sums shortly and by the start of the festive period at the latest
PBL103 25/12/18 £2,100,000 The borrower expects to fully repay the loan before Christmas
DFL027 31/12/18 £3,488,289 A refinance has been agreed
Total loan value is 23mln Eur, which would be a decent outcome to even get close to it. Can you guys let me know if I missed any loan and what is your expectation of repayments before year end?

I ignore any line that mentions the word, 'expect', 'anticipate' or the phrase, 'borrower has advised'. Sorry to be cynical, but history shows it.
The first three lines have value (check out the sale prices ref distressed sale valuations (i.e. the least that can be expected) for a laugh) and maybe the last, so thanks for summarizing those. Until things happen for definite, the rest is meaningless to me.

Can you guys let me know if I missed any loan and what is your expectation of repayments before year end? If hope and expect mean the same thing the answer is 100%. If they don't then the expectation is zero. More to the point the remaining overdue loans also have neither hope nor expectation.

Not sure why i’m too bothered about this update ...but I do like a good read ..hurry up Lendy They're not sending out monthly investor updates anymore, and it would seem that the individual loan updates are now on an ad hock basis when they actually want to update investors with anything.

Actually there are a full set of loan updates on the LY site, if you but go look for them. Only the monthly weather and shopping discussions have been discontinued.
