Excellent news. Now LTV is 48%. Reinvested back into the loan. Looks like everyone shares my view with 22k remaining.
It actually went down to 0 for a while. Then somebody dumped 25k for sale, and that's been nibbled away to nothing over about half an hour. I always find it strange/funny how quickly a loan can go from unloved, to wildly in demand (and back again!!!)

Just goes to show, there is still a lot of 'hidden' pent-up demand on MoneyThing for the right loans.

On that note, another 8k chunk just appeared for sale, snapped up in minutes...

I'm not in this loan but I must admit I am becoming more positive towards MoneyThing. I posted some months ago that I'd had bad experiences which in retrospect were partly down to my own naivety at the time (although I still think MT could do more to protect newbie investors buying the loans noone else wants). This loan, some other recoveries and now their leadership in P2P in general as shown by their interest in the COL situation has led me to seriously think about ramping up my investment in MT.

Another chunk listed and cleared in a couple of minutes. I'm guessing most of the sellers were holders of the original loan.
So here's what I don't understand -
When the loan was 70% LTV with an unknown borrower, they were buyers...
... but when the loan is 48% LTV with a borrower who now has a track record of repayment, they are sellers...
I am confused.

Exactly what I did too. One of the lowest LTV loans on the site with a borrower who has proven that they'll do what they say they will and pay money back when they have it. What's not to like?

Yes, they have sold the shiny Jag at the front of the lot so obvs the rusty Vauxhalls at the back will get lapped up in short order. No brainer, where do I sign up?

Looking at the LTV of first sale it looks to be valued about right. Will see what happens now and how much interest there is for the other 5.

MoneyThing The original loan for this MTBE924 is still showing in 'My Live Loans' as well as the new one MTBE950. This is making the live loans amount (under the funds tab) higher than it should be. This can't be right - can it?

And I still have it showing for sale even though I was repaid! Mine was up for sale as well. I have a hunch that this is the cause of the glitch. If I try to cancel the sale I get a message that says 'The sale has already been purchased'.
