While we are happy for you to analyse our book, can I ask the moderators whether the links are 'No follow' ? - If Google Crawls these we may get a penalty because there are a lot of links from here suddenly and these will return no results as they are behind a password.. Looks like they are "no follow" - if you inspect the forum page html you'll see rel="nofollow" in these <a> elements.

This can be confirmed by inspecting the html (thanks toast). Unfortunately, this also applies to your signature links.

They do hit the login page. I suggest you ask for hyperlinks to be removed. Anybody that interested can extract the URLs and follow them manually.

I've update the links in the OP and on DD Central to point to the New UI.

1000085 has had a significant company downgrade - now almost a 50% chance of loan default. Too high risk for me (and risk of default three times higher than current interest rate!) - so sold out today (at a small premium!).

On the one hand, there is a cross company guarantee from a company that has just paid a loan off early which gives some confidence that there is cash in the business (or it can attract funds from other sources). On the other hand, that loan - a 14%er, might have been paid off with funds we lent at 13% to t***k s****h quite recently. As this loan is also 14%, I wonder if we'll also see it paid off after the minimum 12 months?
In the middle of a World Cup it'd be a shame if a brewery attached to a pub company couldn't make money. I just hope they have enough CO2. I would quite like to know what the CCJ is for though. I don't think I would have invested if it was there previously.

I really think Abl should make some comment when a Company Trading Report appears so negative.
Otherwise, panic is going to set in whenever this occurs in the future.
I'm not sure there reports are a good idea at all. Nobody is going to check them everyday - it would be better if they were automatically mailed to the holders of the loan.

Too high risk for me (and risk of default three times higher than current interest rate!) - so sold out today (at a small premium!). Yes, the new score of 1 did not impress me, but then I was selling it anyway - my generous policy being to help my fellow lenders to diversify when there is little on the PM, and to be there to help support the new loans over the line. There is substantial security/guarantee support outside of the company, but personally I don't plan to be there when the security might be needed. With some of these scores, you have to look carefully at the dates. If a company is borrowing a shedload of cash in regular chunks, then a score does not help much, if it is based on the accounts filed a year ago, for accounts ending a year before that.

Panic appears to have set in with 2 individuals competing in a race to the bottom, the loan rating changed 3 weeks ago and no one noticed until highlighted today!

As far as I am concerned a credit score for company of less than 1yr in existence does not make much sense. They should all have a score of 1 especially if they borrow hundreds of thousands against a capital of 0. Moreover I cannot see a trace of this CCJ in the gazette.

It appears to happen today (25k on SM with generous discount). Last night was looking at SM to reinvest my returns at par or discount and 85 wasn't there.

Instances like this highlight the fundamental advantage of ablrate’s secondary market over those of Lendy and MoneyThing, where adverse news tends to trigger a huge queue to sell at par and very little in the way of actual buying. Which, in turn, increases lender nervousness about other loans on the platform. Instead we see market forces quickly establishing a level at which sellers and buyers are both happy to transact. (tagging Lendy Support, MoneyThing)

ablrate perhaps an admin comment explaining the #100085 downgrade might be in order.
